Cactus: There isn’t another houseplant as decorative or surrealistic as a cactus. A stunning pink sphere can develop from a simple, greyish green base with dainty flowers growing in between their prickly needles.

Many green or flowering hanging plants, which are common houseplants to us are actually from tropical rain forests. Here, they mostly grow as climbing plants. Extraordinary green, flowering hanging plants: Cissus, Columnea, Ceropegia woodii and not to mention, the variety you see here.

FLOWER OF THE MONTH

FLOWER OF THE MONTH FOR AUGUST There are sunflowers as far as the eyes can see in the Italian fields and along the typical narrow roads! A sight not to be missed in many Mediterranean countries. Sunflowers aren’t just beautiful in the field, they also do really well in at the house or in the garden. The queen of summer is also available in bronze, orange, cream and burgundy as well as traditional yellow.

FLOWER OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER Dahlias are sold as plants, bulbs and of course as cut flowers. This flower is originally from Mexico. Since 1810, Dahlias have also been grown in The Netherlands and they come in many beautiful shapes and colours. There are over 20.000 shades to choose from. With its stunning, big bloom, dahlias are just perfect for every style of bouquet.

‘‘Real friendship is like the sun, she is always shining!’’

Roses in any colour stand for love, joy, happiness and affection. Dahlias stand for luxury, abundance and splendour. The combination of these two flowers is perfect to define friendship.

WOOD What would we do without it? Wood has always been used in our interior design. It’s time that decides which colour or type of wood is trending in that particular moment. The addition of wood gives our Sweet Paradise collection an edge and creates a more robust overall look.

Aloe Vera is a succulent with many benefits. This plant prefers a spot in full sun to partial shade. If a leaf turns brown, just simply cut it off and the plant will restore itself.

RETRO ECO After all the mysterious and exotic collections, we finally arrive at the trendy yet familiar retro eco theme. Colours and materials are down to earth but very now. The green houseplants in fresh grey or yellow pots produce beautiful contrast. A natural atmosphere that brings the outdoors inside.

Hanging pots and houseplants have been popular features for a while now. In September, the Flower Council of Holland even honours the hanging houseplant as houseplant of the month. Hanging houseplants are also very suitable for small rooms. When it comes to containers, the colours need to be subtle in order to make houseplants appear even more green. Calm, fresh and natural is the look of the interior in this theme. The yellow details add to that wonderful summer feeling, which we want to extend. This theme is the best of all possible worlds.
