WELCOME! Welcome everybody
to the 41st Thor Winter Olympics, presented by Pro Circuit! This event has become a tradition for so many families for many years. There are a lot of new riders from all over the world that have come here for the first time this year. Since it is Thanksgiving we want to give thanks to our all of our sponsors, the racers, and their families, that put in so much effort to make this event what it is. We would also like to thank the Unlimited Sports MX staff that puts so much effort in to this to make it a world class event. This event is for you, the racer, to come out and show what you have worked so hard for. We all know that motocross is a unique sport that takes a tremendous amount of discipline to train to the level that will excel you to better results. This isn’t the sport where everyone gets a trophy for being on the team. Motocross is just like everything else in life, you get out of what you put into it. As parents, let’s set an example for our children to teach them to have a strong work ethic and a desire to be the best at everything they do and they will pass that along to their children too. That’s what made this country great, let’s get back to it again.
On behalf of the Unlimited Sport MX team, may God bless you and we hope you have a great time this Thanksgiving week!

MINI O’S 2011 The 2011 Winter Olympics put on by the crew at Unlimited Sports were greeted with a stacked crowd of participants who were eager to get on the new track design, which usually switches up some sections each year. The toughest section was by far the jump on jump off into a set of deep treacherous whoops. The whoops were built up and only the most experienced riders were getting through them with ease. Hundreds of riders took to the track Monday morning for the start of practice. The riders had a good amount of practice time to get the sections down which would lead them into their heat races Monday afternoon and Tuesday. This year would also see a heat wave that never left the state of Florida yet as temperatures would hover around 80! The tracks and facility grow better as Wyn Kern and his crew at Unlimited Sport continue to step it up each year.

ADAM CIANCIARULO
Some of the biggest news of the year always seems to surround the Supermini Phenom of Adam Cianciarulo. After coming off 2 titles at Lorrettas, then a big win at the Monster Energy SX Cup in Las Vegas, AC was again the man to beat in the Supermini classes. Leading up to the Mini O’s Adam also secured a 5 year deal with Mitch Peytons Monster Energy/Pro-Circuit Kawasaki team to bring Adam straight up into the pro ranks. In hit first Heat Race you could see it would be a long week for his competitors as Adam pulled the holeshot and skimmed the whoops, dropping his lap times into the 58 second range while everyone else ran 1:01’s. AC would put in unstoppable rides in every race during SX, never losing a heat race or a Main Event. In the Supermini 1 class Blake Green out of Romoland, California finished up in second. The Kawasaki riders swept the podium as Mitchell Harrison from Cairo, Gerogia was 3rd. In the Supermini 2 it was Cianciarulo with the win Chase Bell finishing up in the #2 spot on hit KTM and Blake Green in the #3 spot. One rider surprising everyone in SX was the C rider of Austin Cox. Residing out of Cresson Texas riding a Yamaha. The #119 Yamaha rider would go on to take all 4 C class wins during SX! Cox would finish second in his heat race in the 250 C Stk class but in the main event come won with the W over Dylan Rouse from Verona, Kentucky on the 101 Kawasaki. Brice Klippel from Bradford, Tennessee was third on his Kawasaki. The top Florida rider in the class would be Cameron Fasnacht from Port St. Lucie finishing 5th. Fasnacht would try to stop

Cox in the Open C Stk class but it was Austin Cox once again taking the Main Event win after a horrible heat race were he finished 14th, but in SX all that matters in the main event! Rouse would finish up in third. The 250 C Mod class would have Austin Cox having a perfect finish in this class winning his heat race and main event. Once again over the Florida rider of Fasnacht. Blake Neiheiser from Crosby, Texas was third on his Yamaha. Finally in the Open C Mod Austin Cox finished it up with his 4th Main Event win! Fasnacht was 2nd once again with Rouse third.
ZACH BELL
Jumping up into the A/Pro classes it was Jeremy Martin from Millville, Minnesota taking the main event win in the 250 A/Pro Stk class. Martin, is the younger brother of Pro rider Alex Martin, and son of the Millville MX track owners. Jeremy has really elevated his game and it showed as he finished up in 2nd in his heat race behind Dillan Epstein but took the win in the main on his Yamaha. Justin Hill from Yoncalla, Oregon (who is the younger brother of Josh Hill) finished 2nd on his Pro-CirctuJORDAN BAILEY it Kawasaki and Dylan Slusser from Butler, Pennsylvania was 3rd. Jessy Neslon, the Troy Lee Designs Honda rider from Templeton, California made easy work on the Open A/Pro Stk as he won both the heat and main event. Justin Hill was second once again with Jeremy Martin 3rd. Zachary Bell would join the fight for SX titles on his Geico Honda. Bell who moved a little north into Cairo, Georgia won both the heat race and main event to take the title in the 250 A/Pro Mod class. Grant Ransdell, the #41 Yamaha rider from Milner, Georgia was second with Jessy Nelson 3rd. Nelson would be the only rider to win 2 classes in the A division in SX. Jessy would win the Open A/Pro Mod class over Ransdell and Hill. Probably one of the most exciting classes all week is the B class. So many up and coming young kids who have graduated from mini bikes looking to adapt and make a big splash in the class. Starting it off in the 250 B Stk class Jace Owen out of Mattoon, Illinois on his Suzuki, would take the win after finishing second in his heat race. Daniel Baker from Crittendan, Kentucky was 2nd, also on a Suzuki with the Honda rider of Shane Mcelrath from Canton, North Carolina 3rd. Open B Stk would see a complete new set of riders on the podium as the Cairo, Georgia rider of Anthony Rodriguez took the win on the #67 Yamaha over Jake Baumert from Buckner, Kentucky. Colt Nichols was 3rd on his Kawasaki from Muskogee, Oklahoma. 250 B Mod would see our first glimpse of the new Star Yamaha/Red Bull rider of Cooper Webb. Webb who is now on big bikes full time had great heat races in the Stk classes but struggled in the Mains. He would make up for it in this class winning both the Heat and Main Event. Yamaha riders would sweep the podium as Anthony Rodriguez was 2nd and Shane Mcelrath 3rd. Cooper would end his SX Main events in style winning the Open B Mod class, over new Geico Honda rider of Matt Bisceglia and Jace Owen finishing up 3rd. Peeking into the Mini classes Tanner Stack started his week off

Adrian Aguero from Royal Palm Beach, Florida finished 2nd in the main also on a Kawi. The Kawasakis would sweep the podium as Lance Kobush from New Flourance, Missouri was 3rd. Stack continued his winning ways, as the rider from Oak Grove Missouri took both heat race and Main Event wins in the 85 (9-11) Mod this time over Chase Sexton, the Yamaha rider out of La Moille, Illinois. Michael Mosiman was 3rd coming all the way from Sebastopol, California. Chase Bell was unstoppable in the 85 (12-13) Stk and Mod classes. Bell would take both main event wins on his KTM. Tyler Pantley, from Brooksville, Florida was second on his Suzuki with another Suzuki rider of Jeremy Hand finishing 3rd from Mantua, Ohio.

Enzo Lopes, from Hialeh, Florida took the 65 (1011) Stk and Mod class titles. In the Stk class he would win the heat race and main event over Logan Stokes from Greer, South Carolina and Justin Rodbell from Prince Frederick, Maryland. The Mod class would be the exact replica of the Stk as Lopes once again took the win over Stokes and Rodbell, all three riders on KTM’s. The KTM/ Stellar MX rider of Jalek Swoll would win the 65 (7-9) Stk Main event over Lance Kobusch of New Florence, Missouri and Jerrett Frye who was third from Mechanicsville, Maryland. In the (7-9) Mod Kobusch would take the main event win on his Kawasaki over the Cobra rider of Jack Rogers from Brookeville, Maryland and Ethan Mann from Vancouver, Washington. In the Plus Classes, Augie Lieber continued his streak of SX Main Event wins in the Plus 25 class on his MX South/Sharp/DNA Kawasaki. Lieber won both his heat race and main event. The Plus classes look like old Pro events, as he beat out James Evans and Jim Neese. In the Plus 30 class Keith Johnson taking the win over James Evan and Neese. The Plus 40 was won once again by Johnson, followed by long time Suzuki rider Barry Carsten and John Grewe 3rd. Plus 45 was all Carsten as he took the win over Grewe and Kawasaki Team Green rider Earl May. Plus 50 was won by Thomas Dretzka, with Kirk Lewis 2nd and James White 3rd. McKenzie Tricker was the fastest lady in the Womens class taking the main event win over Taylor Higgins and Brianna Degray. MINI O’S 2011 After SX was finished up, the crowds had grown substantially at the race track. A lot of riders have tough schedules to make it down for a entire week of racing but everyone tries to compete at the infamous Gatorback MX track. Once home to a MX National for many years, the track is rich with history. Home of Ricky Carmichaels first ever MX win, which would be the last National held there. The track has made some minor changes, but it is still one of the best tracks to ride and watch in the nation. This year the crew at Unlimited Sports started to churn up the hard packed dirt, allowing more moisture in the track, and would form multiple lines around the track. The riders were raving about the conditions. The MX portion would finish off the week of racing all the way until Saturday. For the overall of the week the riders would have their overall finishes from SX and MX combined to determine the overall Olympian Champion of the week. Remember this name, Claudio Leocata. This Suzuki rider, who is living and training in Cairo, Georgia just made a name for himself in the MX portion of the Winter Olympics. Leocata, had some flashes of brilliance in SX, but when he got back to his MX roots, he showed why he is now the man to beat, winning 6 titles in MX!. In the 250 B Stk class Leocata, Cooper Webb, and Anthony Rodriguez would all capture moto wins in their qualifiers. In moto 2 were all the riders would combine for the overall it was Leocata putting in a solid moto beating out the Star Racing/Red Bull rider of Webb. Shane Mcelrath took his Honda to a thrid place finish which would net him a 3rd overall going 3-3. Next up for Leocata was the Youth (12-16) Stk class. Leocata and Jordan Smith would win their heat races, but in the final 2nd moto no one could match Leocata as he sped away from another win and staying perfect so far through two races. Colton Ford from Cartersville, Georgia rode strong going 2-2 for 2nd overall and Aaron Plessinger from Hamilton, Ohio was 3rd overall with a 2-4 tally. Claudio next venture would be in the Schoolboy (13-16) division which would have 3 divisions, Leocata,

Paul Coates and Anthony Rodriguez would all score wins in the qualifying races but it was Leocata winning both motos once again to take the overall win. Coates went 1-2 for second overall and Luke Clout went 3-3 for third overall. All three riders all train in Cairo, Georgia! Leocata’s first defeat came in his qualifying race of the 250 B Mod class. Matt Bisceglia, Jace Owen and Luke Clout would all take wins in the heats but in the final 2nd moto is where it all counts as Leocata would take the win and the overall going 2-1. Bisceglia was second with a 1-2 and Jace Owen third, 1-4. Open B Modified would be Leocata’s 5th title in MX stringing together yet again another 1-1 perfect tally for the title. Daniel Baker from Crittenden, Kentucky was 2nd with strong 2-2 showing on his Suzuki. Cody Silver from Rockwall, Texas was 3rd overall going 4-4. Matt Bisceglia won his qualifier but suffered bad luck in the 2nd moto and finished in 13th. Finally Leocata would finish off his week with one more perfect 1-1 score, this time in the Youth (12-16) Mod class. Paul Coates was 2nd, 2-2 and Shane Mcilrath third 1-5. Leocata, took home 6 titles, winning 11 or his 12 moto’s! Zachary Bell keeps moving ahead and looking strong on his Geico Honda. Bell captured both moto wins in the 250 A/Pro Stk class in front of Thousand Oaks, Californias Dillan Epstein, 2-2, and Jeremy Martins Yamaha in third, 3-3. Bell, who was only racing the 250 classes, kept his perfect 1-1 tally in tack in the 250 A/Pro Mod class. Bell would capture the Olympian Title for MX in the fastest class of the week. Jeremy Martin was 2nd overall, going 2-2 and Jessy Nelson was third overall on his Troy Lee Design Honda, 5-3. The Open A/Pro Stk class would see a big mix up for the overall. Justin Hill took moto 1 win on his Team Green Kawasaki, but the Oregon rider suffered bad luck in the second moto finishing up in the #22 spot, putting him back to 9th overall. Dillan Epstein would win the second moto, but with a 8th place finish in moto 1 it would put him in the 4th spot overall. The most consistent rider to take the overall was Jeremy Martin. Martin went 4-2 to take the title over Jessy Nelson, who went 2-5 and Raimundo Trasolini’s 5-3. Hill would bounce back though in the Open A/Pro Mod class by winning both motos to take a title. Epstein was second overall going 1-2 and Vann Martin from Houston, Texas was 3rd going 3-3.

Jared Jackson from Zephyrhills, Florida came in for MX aboard his BPM Racing Engine/Xtreme Honda to put a stop to Austin Cox’s winning streak in the C Class. In the 250 C Stk class it was Florida boys winning 2 of the 3 heat races as Jackson and Fasnacht won 2 and Brice Klippel from Bradford, Tennessee winning another one. In the second moto it was all Jackson taking the moto win and title over Klippel, 1-3 and Austin Cox who went 4-2 for third. 250 C Mod would see Jackson, Cox and Klippel all win heat races. In the showdown of the second DILLAN EPSTEIN moto though it was Jackson keeping his Honda up front to take the second moto win and overall. He would finish ahead of Fasnacht who went 2-2 and Cox 3-3. Cox would get one title in MX in the Open C Stk class. The Texan rider went 1-1 for the win over Matt Beers 1-3 and Cameron Fasnacht’s 2-3. One rider who had a perfect week in the Supermini class was the Port Orange, Florida rider of Adam Cianciarulo. AC, on his Monster Energy/ Pro-Circuit Kawasaki, was dominant in every moto. In the Supermini 1 (12-15) he won both motos over the KTM rider of Chase Bell, 1-2, and Stone Edler, from Destrehan, Louisiana, who went 1-3. AC kept his streak all the way to the end of the week in the Supermini 2 (13-16) class. Completing his championship run going 1-1 for the title. Chase Bell was 2nd once again going 2-2 with his KTM teammate of Keith Tucker in 3rd, 3-3. Bell would not be held without a title of his own. He would capture the title in the 85 (12-13) Stk class with a perfect 1-1 score over the Brooksville, Florida rider of Tyler Pantley who was 2nd going 2-2. Tommy Maxey, aboard his Kawasaki from Bloomingdale, Georgia was 3rd with a 2-3. Bell would win his final title in the 85 (12-13) Mod class with another 1-1 score. From Oak Grove, Missouri this Kawasaki rider went 1-1 over Michael Mosiman from Sebastopol, California. Mosiman wasa 2nd going 3-2, beating out Challen Tennant who went 2-3 on his KTM. Tennant would have his revenge in the 85 (9-11) Mod class. IT’S WHAT THE FACTORY TEAMS USE After only two years, Matrix Concepts is proud to have achieved 13 professional championships in its short history! Factory Monster Kawasaki Ryan Villopoto leads Matrix Concept riders by winning the 2011 AMA 450 SX and AMA National MX Championships, Monster Cup, MXDN World Championship and 2012 AMA 450 SX Championship. With over 25 professional teams using Matrix Concepts, we are sure to add to our championship count. We continue our relationship with racing legend Bob Hannah and welcome Jeremy McGrath to our development team.
