Moreover, they are waterproof for up to 72 hours thanks to a special structure with a watertight surface, the Green Tec fibreboard, and the close-fitting CLIC-it! fitting system. Unlike conventional vinyl floors, their Design Green Tec floors do not use PVC. 100% of the wood originates from regional and certified forests. The integrated sound insulation layer is made from recycled cork.
MEISTER MEISTER is offering laminate floors which remain water-resistant for between 4 and 24 hours. This means that all MEISTER laminate floors with a minimum thickness of 8mm are suitable for bathrooms. The MEISTER laminate floor Aqua Safe system comprises several elements which protect the floor against moisture penetration: a watertight melamine surface, new Aqua Stop edge impregnation, a refined joint seal, and a swelling-enhanced base plate. Both the LL250 (S) and LD 250 collections are 10mm thick and therefore have an exceptionally stable product structure and, according to the definition of the European and American laminate sectors, remain water-resistant for 24 hours. The LD150 stands out for its price-quality ratio. The excellent technical features, combined with splendid designs, mean that this 8mm laminate floor with four V-grooves and a water-resistant character for four hours is absolutely ideal for the bathroom.
PREMIBEL C901 – THE PROFESSIONAL HYBRID ADHESIVE They offer DINACHOC C901 adhesive for use in combination with parquet and wooden floors when the whole structure has to be compatible with floor heating at high and low temperatures. They recommend this in combination with the Dinachoc S801 subfloor to ensure excellent acoustic insulation. And so, the fitting is done with double glueing. If we consider the preparation for application on site, their DINACHOC C901 adhesive is used without an adhesive primer and it adapts to all types of bearer (tiles, concrete screed, anhydrite screed, wood, ceramics, natural stone, etc.), all widths (even extra wide), and all sorts of wood. Remove all grease and dust from the bearer for the best possible adhesion. Their adhesive composition is the fruit of years of progress in the search for the ideal formula and includes no isocyanates, silicones, solvents, or formaldehydes. Moreover, VOC content is also very low. The adhesive is graded as A+ and its EMICODE® class is EC1PLUS, the highest EMICODE® grade.
