∂ Product news BJELIN - STABLE FLOOR WITH MULTI-LAYER PARQUET Bjelin offers parquet floors with many different pigmentations. From light to dark. The natural pattern and colour of the oak varies greatly. Therefore, the planks are sorted into grades so that you can choose exactly the look that suits your interior design. Traditional solid wood floors do not meet the requirements of a modern home. A hydrostatically stable floor can, for example, be achieved by having several layers of wood in the floor where the different layers have different fibre directions or by one of the layers consisting of a wood fibreboard. Bjelin parquet floor consists of three layers where the wood fibres in the different layers run in a perpendicular direction to each other. The layers lock each other and reduce the natural movement of the wood, providing a stable floor. The surface layer has a wear surface of 2.5-3.5 mm. The middle layer is strong and durable and is made from pine or spruce. The bottom layer of wood also has a stabilising function.
SOBOPLAC : PANELIO – WALL PANELS WITH THE EFFECT OF WOODEN STRIPS The Carrefour International Wood Show 2022 gave Soboplac the opportunity to present its new PANELIO range of wall panels with wood strip effect. The attraction of this range lies in its depth, with no fewer than four different profiles and three references per profile, i.e. 12 profiles in total. The planks (12cm wide x 2.70m high) can be fitted quickly and easily with polymer adhesive or even with a simple Velcro, since the product is so light. The plates are made from extruded polystyrene, which provides plenty of hardness and strength, but at the same time stays light so that these plates are easy to fit onto the wall or ceiling. The products are suitable for bathrooms, so they stand out from most similar wood products. Finally, their well considered marketing enables any dealer to sell the products to clients, purchasers, and architects in a professional and efficient manner.
TOVER In collaboration with PAOLONI s.n.c., TOVER presents a semi-industrial machine for the oiling and lacquering of wooden floors: MINI-TUNNEL. This machine has many particularly attractive features: it is compact and very easy to use as fully automatic. The cleaning operations are simple and give the possibility of changing the type of finish or colours very quickly. Another extraordinary characteristic of the Mini-Tunnel is its extreme versatility: thanks to its numerous accessories (sponge or gummed rollers, sprayers, brushes, etc.) it is suitable to apply transparent and coloured oils, water-based primers and lacquers, reactive aging agents by Tover. The price is another important advantage: with a relatively small investment, the customer can immediately start showing off a personalized collection of prefinished floors.
DINACHOC C901 – THE PROFESSIONAL HYBRID ADHESIVE They offer DINACHOC C901 adhesive for use in combination with parquet and wooden floors when the whole structure has to be compatible with floor heating at high and low temperatures. They recommend this in combination with the Dinachoc S801 subfloor to ensure excellent acoustic insulation. And so, the fitting is done with double glueing. If we consider the preparation for application on site, their DINACHOC C901 adhesive is used without an adhesive primer and it adapts to all types of bearer (tiles, concrete screed, anhydrite screed, wood, ceramics, natural stone, etc.), all widths (even extra wide), and all sorts of wood. Remove all grease and dust from the bearer for the best possible adhesion. Their adhesive composition is the fruit of years of progress in the search for the ideal formula and includes no isocyanates, silicones, solvents, or formaldehydes. Moreover, VOC content is also very low. The adhesive is graded as A+ and its EMICODE® class is EC1PLUS, the highest EMICODE® grade.
