Hot Water Comedy Club is the biggest comedy brand in the UK and already hosts over 1000 shows a year in Liverpool. With an online following of over three million, they’ve decided that it was about time that the rest of the country had the chance to see the comedy shows live! They will be touring the UK with their ‘flagship’ triple headline shows and the Floral Pavilion is

delighted to become the home of Hot Water Comedy Club in New Brighton with regular monthly shows.

It’s a great pleasure for me to present the Summer-Autumn edition of our season brochure which is just full of wonderful new shows for to you enjoy over the coming months. We have something for everyone to enjoy from the world of drama, music, comedy to family entertainment. We invite you to browse through the brochure and book your tickets now!

For drama lovers, we’re excited and proud to welcome the world’s longest-running play, Agatha Christie‘s The Mousetrap as part of its 70th Anniversary Tour. With a surprise ending that’s still the best kept secret in theatreland, could you be next!

For music lovers we have a world-class line-up of artists including Elkie Brookes, Sharon Corr, Gilbert O’Sullivan and Marti Pellow alongside ever popular shows paying tribute to some of the biggest selling artists in the world. For those of you who want to see behind the curtain, we have global superstar Dame Joan Collins and music legends Lulu, Francis Rossi and Paul Young singing and sharing stories and memories.

When you’re booking your tickets, why not make your visit to the venue even more special by booking pre-show dining served in our stunning Panoramic Lounge. With plenty of free parking around the venue and your table reserved for you, you can relax and enjoy the evening having avoided queues and knowing everything has been taken care of.

Of course, you don’t have to book tickets for a show to enjoy a visit to the Floral Pavilion. The Floral Café is open seven days a week so drop in and meet up with friends or family to enjoy a hot meal, light bite, cake or pastry, with a selection of tea and coffee options. Don’t forget your canine friends are very welcome in the ground floor Café area.

Adapted from Helen Forrester’s million-selling book, By The

Waters Of Liverpool is a stunning period drama set in the 1930s.

The story opens in 1935. Helen is sixteen years old and fighting a bitter battle with her parents for the right to educate herself and go out to work. During the Great Depression, Helen’s father lost his fortune when the stock market crashed and the family were suddenly thrown into poverty. Leaving behind the nannies, servants and comfortable middle-class life in the South West of England, the Forrester’s chose Liverpool as the place to start over.

They were in for a terrible shock. Taken out of school to care for her younger brothers and sisters while her parents struggled to re-build their shattered lives, Helen is treated as an unpaid slave and desperate to escape. By 1939, now aged twenty and with Britain on the brink

of war, she has still never been kissed by a man. But things start looking up for Helen when she meets a tall strong seaman and falls in love.

I’ve even weaved in a storyline from Helen’s fourth autobiography, Lime Street At Two. That way those unfamiliar with Helen’s work still get a complete picture of her life”. Interactive Theatre’s globetrotting show is truly quite legendary, selling out at venues like Edinburgh Fringe, Raffles Singapore and Sydney Opera House. It returns to the Floral Pavilion in 2023, but be warned: it’ll sell out here too, so early booking is essential!

When the audience become diners in the ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant and are served by Basil, Sybil and Manuel, pretty much anything can happen - especially with two-thirds of the show improvised.

Stage-Ed is thrilled to be returning to the Floral Pavilion Theatre! Working in junior and senior age groups, this Summer holiday we’ll be freshening things up and introducing Harry Potter, Heathers, Back to the Future, Matilda and Lyle Lyle Crocodile.

You don’t need any previous experience to attend - it’s about having fun, and we consider it our job to put a smile on your face. If you just want to be part of the chorus and sing some of the songs from your favourite films and musicals, you will have the time of your life!
