For the fourth consecutive year, FAMU remains the highest-ranked public Historically Black College and University (HBCU), according to U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 Best Colleges ranking of Top Public Universities as well as ranked 103 among Top Public Universities with a goal set to fall within the Top 100 in the next five years. Among other accolades, Florida A&M University is ranked 23 nationally on the Social Mobility Index, the most accurate measure of FAMU's ability to alter the economic trajectory of our students, alums, and their families. With an estimated enrollment of 9,184 students and nearly 20,000 applicants for the fall of 2023 semester, a 110% increase compared to years ago, ultimately means that our brand is highly respected and students not only want to come to FAMU; they are coming. Whether it's our culture and academic excellence, Marching "100" and Rattler Athletics, or world-renowned faculty and alumni, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is the ideal place for cultivating your brand's reach and visibility.

The Office of Communications is the official news source and distributor of information about the University. Within the Office of Communication lies the Marketing Department. The Marketing Department's mission is to create and execute innovative and effective marketing campaigns by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and utilizing robust marketing strategies to obtain the target audience's awareness. In pursuing our vision and achieving our mission, we reach and connect with our stakeholders via social media platforms, tell the FAMU story through the award-winning bi-annual A&M Magazine, and plan, organize, and host signature events, connecting with a broad and vibrant audience of alums and stakeholders. We hope to continue building on our reputation by partnering with your organization to reach the ideal target audience and achieve the desired marketing objectives.
