Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney & Prepaid Funeral Plans
Wills: Everyone needs a Will. Without one the Law determines what happens and that won’t be what you want. Trusts can protect your assets for your family and save many £’000s - ask us how.
Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs): Over 2 million people of all

ages have lost capacity. If that happens spouse/partner CAN’T just take over. They must apply to the Court but it can take ages and cost thousands. An LPA can avoid all this. Once you’ve lost capacity it’s too late to get one. Act Now.

Prepaid Funeral Plans: funeral costs have risen massively and will continue to do so. These plans “lock in” at today’s prices & will cover the cost whenever it’s needed. Guaranteed acceptance regardless of age or health. Make things so much easier for your family with no funeral expenses or difficult decisions to make at the worst possible time.

Success comes from working together.
Informative presentations I went to a presentation on Social Networking a while back and was absolutely horrified to hear the first presenter start by telling everyone that print was dead. I have created 85 websites in the past few years, I provide social networking for clients, I help people set up new businesses, help others relaunch, I design logos and provide lots of printing. and I run two business associations. Quite frankly I was horrified at his out and out intention to feed the audience with mistruth. I know we all have to suffer lies and deceit on social media and general media these days. It isn’t right. Consequently I spent some time doing some legal, decent and honest research and this presentation is the result. Don’t miss it, it will surprise some of you. It did me! Tuesday 4 October. At the Harrow Inn. Reading from paper or reading from screens. What do consumers really prefer? A survey of UK consumers recently undertaken provides some unexpected results for many people. As the world of communication continually shifts towards digital, books, magazines and other forms of communication are increasingly read on screen. There have been many studies to try and find out if people actually prefer to read from screens or whether the convenience and immediacy of digital communication is forcing a change of reading habits. The survey explores how consumers feel about this development and reveals that print and paper is still preferred by many who also have concerns for learning and literacy in an increasingly digital world. There are lessons for all in this report: from the perspective of citizens coping in a changing media world to the concerns of advertisers and educators who need to know how information, by whatever means it is delivered, is being received, processed and retained. This will be an informative presentation by Alan Reading, Custom Marketing Resources. These meetings are free and informative and fun. So, if you want to come please register online or by phoning 01622 820841.

FREE NHS FLU VACCINATION
Saxon Warrior Pharmacy LENHAM Private Travel Clinic Following the launch of our very popular seasonal flu vaccination service last year at Saxon Warrior Pharmacy, we are delighted to announce that the service will be available again to all eligible patients regardless of the postal address. Once again, there is no need to make an appointment and our pharmacy is open throughout the day on weekdays as well as on Saturday mornings. We have had an overwhelming response and received some very positive feedback last year. The pharmacy delivered one of the highest numbers of flu vaccinations in the country for the NHS.
This is a free service under the NHS for those who are eligible on age or medical grounds. Any other member of the public wishing to be vaccinated on a private basis can do so usually by turning up at the Pharmacy. A private vaccination service for travel has been running very well at the pharmacy; this includes yellow fever and any other essential vaccines. Most vaccines are held in stock so short notice and same-day travel and other vaccinations are available subject to appointments. There is no need for a GP prescription for any of these or indeed for all anti-malarials. We also offer Meningitis B, Chickenpox and all other vaccines as well as a number of private blood tests.
The pharmacy would welcome and appreciate readers’ comments and views about current services and potential ones in the future to improve health and well-being. Contact us in person or via our website www.saxonwarriorpharmacy.com
