The Leonard and Helen Johns Park Pond will be stocked with more than 500 lbs of catfish for the event, which is free for youth ages 16 and younger. Prizes and awards will be given in several categories. Rod, reel, and bait are provided, or you can bring your own!

Memorial Day CeremonyThe Town of Flower Mound invites the community to join together to remember our fallen soldiers of war. The ceremony will feature keynote speakers from the military and local leaders, Color Guard, patriotic music, and more. For those wishing to add a Veteran to the Wall of Honor, the Town is asking residents to submit a picture and bio of a fallen hero, so that they may be recognized for their heroism.

CAC Birthday Bash
Join the Town of Flower Mound Parks and Recreation Department as we celebrate the CAC’s 13th Birthday! The CAC has been a focal point of the Flower Mound community and has enhanced the lives of area residents through its classes, programs, special events, and fitness center. Summer Splashtaculars Dive-in Movie
Join Parks and Recreation staff at the CAC to celebrate Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Back to School on Labor Day at the CAC outdoor water park. Activities and games are spread throughout the day to encourage participation from patrons of all ages and abilities. Activities are FREE with paid admission.

Heritage Springs Splash Pad
The Heritage Springs Splash Pad is a focal point of Heritage Park! The Heritage Springs Splash Pad, located at 600 Spinks Rd, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., May 1 through September 30. This family favorite is a 2,000 sq. ft. shaded splash pad that includes new landscaping, sculpted concrete features, shaded seating areas, 14 unique water features, as well as a separate area for toddlers. The splash pad holds a total of 4,000 gallons of water, and pumps approximately 773 gallons of water per minute!
