Harry Specters

The most inspiring chocolate you’ll ever taste!

Harry Specters makes chocolate. Not just any chocolate, though - delicious chocolate that makes a difference. For every £1 spent at Harry Specters, 69p directly improves the lives of young autistic people and their families through paid employment, free work experience, and excellent free training opportunities. Currently, 78% of autistic adults are unemployed, and it’s time to make a difference.

Their story

Harry Specters was founded by Mona, and inspired by her autistic son, Ash.

On a family holiday to Scotland back in 2011, the topic of Ash’s future cropped up. Both Mona and her family were worried about what opportunities lay ahead for Ash, and speaking to other parents of autistic children, they knew this worry was shared.

However, whilst browsing a chocolate shop in Scotland, inspiration struck Mona: why not start her own business? She discovered the perfect way of combining her passion for creating positive change for those with autism, with her love for chocolate.

You'll now find the hustling and bustling chocolate factory in Cambridgeshire, where autistic people are involved in every aspect of the business – from making and packaging the products to administration, design, and photography.

Their mission

Every piece of Harry Specters chocolate is a promise that it has improved the life of an autistic person.

It’s time to share the love with artisan chocolate.
