There’s NO “I” in Trangleball!! Trangleball spells fitness and fun whatever angle you are coming from! This 3D handball sport combines all athletic skills. Trangleball can be played on hard court, grass, or sand. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised on Long Island, this game is mentally as well as physically fast-paced. Whether played alone as a game of bounce and catch or as a highly competitive sport, your patrons will find it fun and challenging, while recreation professionals will recognize the fitness and sports training benefits of passing, response, speed and teamwork. The angle the ball is thrown onto the 3-D triangular base determines it's direction of travel. Students quickly learn to develop creative approaches and serves to gain the advantage. Play one-on-one with equally matched players or in group settings. Trangleball is ideal as a team sport, physical education exercise or a playground favorite and can accommodate up to 36 players. There's no "I" in Trangleball....it's a team sport!

MARKETING WHAT’S YOUR SUPERPOWER!

HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR SUPERPOWERS! Career superpowers are actions that come easily to you, are fun and can do them for hours on end. As you build your career, you probably will become more in tune with what your superpowers are. If you don’t, you will miss out on the opportunity to create leverage.

Your superpowers depend on three factors: Passions – Actions you love to do. Focus- Actions that get you in “the zone. Strengths – Actions that come easy to you. Without all of these factors you will have a missing power to leverage your success.

Passion The fundamental motivation behind your actions is passion. If you find yourself constantly forcing yourself to take action, then this isn’t passion. I love to write, I actually need to write in order to get the thoughts out instead of spinning around my head. It’s a therapeutic action that became a daily habit. On the other hand, I have difficulty editing because by that point the creation process is already over for me. I want to move on to the next idea. You’ve probably noticed how certain work won’t motivate you for very long. You may be passionate about it for a few hours or days, but eventually the energy wanes and you’re back to doing things that bring you happiness.

Focus The amount of time you can spend focusing on a project will determine how much you get accomplished. If you can’t stay focused for very long, you’ll never develop the skill to be successful. I can write for many hours a day. I can edit for many hours, but it doesn’t make me feel energized. I do it because it’s a part of my job.

”To find joy in work is to discover the fountain of youth.” --Pearl S. Buck Strengths Each skill that you have must produce quality results, otherwise it’s not a strength. For example, almost anyone can write. In order for it to be considered a strength it must be something that other people notice because your skill stands out. Editing is not a skill that I’ve mastered yet, so it’s tough for me to consider this a strength. It’s more like an ability that I’m trying to mold into a superpower.

So how do you find your superpowers? You have to figure out if the action in question meets all the criteria: passion, focus, and strength. Your passions come from your subconscious, your focus is all about your ability to stay in the present moment, and your strengths are determined by the results you produce and the way others perceive those results. If you don’t have all three when performing an action then you aren’t creating great results and feeling happy while doing it. You’re just passing the time doing work that you aren’t really connected with. This is why I started my Superpower Coaching sessions. People came to me for advice because I could see through the fog to help them develop a clear picture. I couldn’t avoid this superpower, so I decided to leverage it. You must learn to leverage your career superpowers or you will be missing out on major success. What are you doing to leverage your superpowers in your business/career ? MAY IS MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH

T

TRENDS EASTER TRENDS

National Military Appreciation Month started as a simple idea; to gather America around its military family to honor, remember, recognize and appreciate those who have served and those now serving and to know the history behind it all. Congress designated May as National Military Appreciation Month in 1999 to ensure the nation was given the opportunity to publically demonstrate their appreciation for the sacrifices and successes made by our service members past and present. Each year the president makes a proclamation, reminding Americans of the important role the U.S. Armed Forces have played in the history and development of our country. May was selected because it has most days set aside for celebrating and commemorating our military's achievements. These days include Loyalty Day, which was established in 1921, Victory in Europe (VE) Day commemorating the end of WWII in Europe on May 8, 1945, Armed Forces Day created in 1949, Military Spouse Appreciation Day established in 1984, and of course the best known of the May holidays, Memorial Day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CAN MWR SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING MANAGERS ENTER INTO COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP OR ADVERTISING AGREEMENTS WITH COMPETITORS OF AAFES (E.G. WAL-MART, TARGET, ETC.)? NO, unless AAFES has concurred. The sale of sponsorship and advertising to retail stores and competitors of AAFES is strongly discouraged. MWR should respect the strategic business relationship it has with AAFES since MWR receives a dividend of the profits generated by AAFES, MWR’s strategic business partner. Per DoDI 1015.1 and AR 215-1, advance coordination of proposed MWR sponsorships with AAFES is required. MWR should advise AAFES management of commercial sponsorship proposals and agreements to ensure that such agreements do not violate existing AAFES policy, understandings or agreements.
