Who We Are Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) exists to enhance the quality of life, contribute to Army communities of excellence, enrich living and working environments and foster a sense of community for Soldiers, family members and civilians. FMWR is a vital tool for readiness because the programs keep Soldiers physically fit, reduce stress and anxiety, build skills and self-confidence and help form espirit de corps. FMWR allows the Army to attract and retain the best! With over 600 employees and 30 facilities, Fort Leonard Wood FMWR is the largest on-post organization.

Force and Marines, plus Reserve and National Guard units. An open to the public golf course – Piney Valley is an 18 hole
course rated 72.9 from the Blue Tees by the PGA. We boast over 65,000 acres of land and at any time 35,000
acres is open to the public for hunting and fishing The Bowling center is one of the top centers in the Army and
repeated winner of the James A. Carroll Award. Over 7,000 Soldiers go through Davidson Fitness Center daily. Nationally accredited Child Development Center with School

Demographics Commercial Sponsorship provides businesses with greater visibility to the our unique military, retiree and surrounding community market.
