COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS We are looking forward to returning to in-person learning at the Annual 2022 FMHCA Conference in Lake Mary, Florida. We understand how important it is to promote safety during the in-person conference. FMHCA has taken some extra measures to ensure we are following all CDC recommended safety guidelines for gatherings and we also ask you to help us in making sure we are as safe as possible. Safety Protocols Include: • Following all CDC guidelines for gatherings which include promoting healthy behaviors such as physical distancing and hand hygiene. Maintaining a healthy environment and maintaining healthy operations by implementing cleaning and disinfecting protocols of microphones, tablets used for check-in and other widely used surfaces. • Masks will be required for everyone attending the event. Masks will be required when indoors when not actively eating or drinking. • Larger rooms will be utilized for workshops so that physical distancing can be implemented. • Each attendee will receive 1 over the counter rapid antigen COVID-19 test. The tests will be provided to all attendees for their convenience and safety. • Hand sanitizer will be available at every check in station. • Sticker system indicating what level of contact people are comfortable with. o Red- no contact o Yellow- being cautious. Elbows and fist pumps are okay o Green-Hugs, high fives, and handshakes welcome. Every attendee will receive a “COVID-19 Safety Kit” which will include a face mask, hand sanitizer, and 1 over the counter rapid antigen COVID-19 test. We will promote the CDC recommendation to be vaccinated for the event (vaccines will not be a requirement, we encourage attendees to follow CDC guidelines which include COVID-19 vaccination). Attendance will be reduced this year to allow for proper physical distancing throughout the conference. Meeting Rooms • Larger rooms will be utilized for workshops so that physical distancing can be implemented. Rooms will be set up to promote physical distancing amongst attendees.


Food and Beverage • For seated meals, the capacity of each table will be reduced and tables will be set further apart to promote physical distancing. • For breakfast and snacks we will be implementing a grab and go style to minimize contact of attendees with food. Attending the FMHCA Conference • Self-monitor symptoms before arriving at the conference. If you suspect you are sick please contact us immediately to explore virtual attendance options. • Regardless of vaccination status we ask that masks will be worn at all times indoors while not actively eating or drinking. • Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often. • Please be respectful of other’s physical distancing requests and follow the sticker system on attendees’ badges. • If you have concerns about anything please be sure to report to the FMHCA office staff in Salon F. Please note the safety protocols above only apply to in-person attendees and not virtual attendees. Orlando Marriott Lake Mary Safety Protocols and Amenities Update: • Room Service is currently not available· • Espresso Bar offers “ To Go Breakfast Items” 7:00am – 11:00 am • Cobalt Lounge is open Monday – Saturday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm • The full-service Bistro is not open • Outdoor heated pool is open - Daily 6:30 am – 11:00 pm • 24-Hour Fitness Center is open with limited occupancy • Local Area Restaurants and shopping are open • Marriott Guidelines for cleaning are being followed: guestrooms are cleaned 24-48 hours after each check-out • Guestrooms are not serviced daily. Should guests need additional towels, sheets etc. items can be delivered to the guestrooms before 6:00 pm. After 6:00 pm items may be picked up from the front desk • Sanitization stations are placed throughout the hotel and meeting foyers • Banquet staff wears masks during food service events. • No Hotel shuttle is currently operating
