hances are if you are in the beauty industry– and are from North Dakota, you are familiar with Josef's School of Hair Design–now more recently, Josef's School of Hair, Skin & Body. Cosmetology and Skin Esthetics are not the only programs Josef's offers in their new state-ofthe-art campus off 13th Avenue in Fargo. Josef's also offers a 750-hour Massage Therapy program. The small class sizes and curriculum is perfect for the adult learner. Lead by instructor and LMT, Ms. Jane Nyberg, students learn different modalities of massage including, hot stone, pregnancy, deep tissue, Swedish, and sports medicine.
In this current climate, self-care routines are becoming more of a priority in people's lives. Insurance companies and other industries are catching on too, adding massage services in chiropractic offices, medispas, and hospitals. Josef's Massage Therapy Program is fully accredited and financial aid is available for those who qualify. "This program gives people the opportunity to provide financial security for themselves and their families," says Vice President/Coowner Elaine Olivieri. Josef's Massage Therapy Program welcomes new students to this program every February and August in both Fargo
