In the Fall of 2020, a 23-year-old guy from Beulah, ND, joined the Spotlight family, helping kickstart a project in 2021 called "FACES of Fargo," and later became the face that greets you in each HOME by Trendsetters issue (formerly Design & Living). I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into, but as a fresh Concordia graduate looking to quench my creative passions, I jumped in and never looked back—and I'm so glad I did.
It has been an honor to welcome you to each issue, share stories from the Red River Valley, and capture beautiful people and scenes with my camera. Four years have gone by so quickly—and while my life has had some incredible ups and downs, one thing that has grounded me is being a part of this magazine's journey. But after greeting you as the editor for the last 24 HOME issues, this 25th greeting will be my last.
Life has presented a new opportunity to me, and as difficult as it is to say farewell, I know you will enjoy the next chapter of this publication
and the amazing Spotlight team that helps make it possible. I want to take a moment to thank CEO Mike "Drago" Dragosavich—he took a chance on me, invested in my potential, and has been an incredible mentor in my life—I am honored to call him a friend. I also want to thank fellow editors Brady Drake and Geneva Nodland—it's been an honor working beside such a talented and dedicated team. I also want to thank Jenny Johnson and Jessica Ventske—these two do not get enough credit for all the client relations and project management work they've done. And lastly, I want
to thank the Spotlight Design team—Kim and Ty are the most talented, creative, and genuine people you'll ever meet—I'll never forget the laughs we shared.
positive lasting impression on this community—because you've given me so much.
For that, I want to say thank you.
God bless you all,
This final issue will mark the 225th Spotlight publication I have been a part of and let me tell you, being an editor here is one of the most fulfilling roles anyone can have. I've had the privilege of meeting and sharing the stories of so many wonderful people—I hope the words I have written and the moments I've captured have blessed you and left a

ounded in January of 2010, TLC Cleaning started on the top shelf of Trisha Lake's laundry room in her Fargo apartment. As a single mom pursuing a nursing degree, Trisha quickly discovered her passion for serving others could be channeled through her new cleaning business, which turned into a full-time business. Today, TLC Cleaning offers residential, commercial, and move-out cleaning services—and much more.
When Trisha began TLC Cleaning, she recognized an opportunity in the industry to create a better relationship dynamic between the cleaning service and the client, focusing on building trust, full transparency, and integrity with each and every person or business they serve.
"I've always been a person who loves helping people, and I love making an impact in people's lives—that's really why I thought I would love
nursing," Trisha said. "So, when I started cleaning, I started feeling that emotional connection to customers. The gratification of helping improve people's homes and lives by removing one simple burden made me realize this was the route I wanted to go."
However, Trisha didn't want to just start a cleaning business; she wanted to set a new standard in the industry. The biggest opportunity she saw in the cleaning service industry was overall professionalism. "When I first started the company, I noticed many things that just weren't up to my standards," she said. "For example, when I would go out to do in-home estimates, I repeatedly kept hearing the same complaints. Clients would say things like, 'They damaged something in my home and never told me about it,' and 'I lost trust.'
Hearing these stories over and over made me determined to set a higher standard."
With a drive to do things differently, Trisha developed systems and implemented processes designed to build trust, such as notifying clients immediately about any damage—no matter how minor—and resolving the issue proactively. "It’s not about the damaged item; it’s about the trust," she said. "Once you break trust with the customer, you’re on a very slippery slope."
Additionally, Trisha has focused on innovation and employee benefits to change the perception of the cleaning industry. By leveraging technology like GPS tracking for staff and real-time notifications for clients, TLC Cleaning provides a seamless and transparent customer experience. TLC Cleaning also stands out with its commitment to employee well-being, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and company-paid life insurance. "When you create careers for people instead of just jobs, you attract good people," Trisha said.
TLC Cleaning also offers a tidy service that can be utilized as a standalone service or an add-on to your cleaning. It's an hour-long service, and the cleaner decides what they want to get done, or you can provide a to-do list. This service is great for doing dishes, laundry, and more.
Did you know? CONTINUED
With people's lives becoming ever-busier, Trisha Lake believes in the mental health benefits of hiring cleaning professionals. "Today, we put so much on our plates. Families are juggling demanding work schedules, kids' extracurricular activities, and endless responsibilities, leaving little to no downtime," she said. A professional cleaning service can alleviate some of this stress by taking one major task off a family's to-do list.
She also believes that cleaning services can improve family dynamics, strengthen marriages, and provide much-needed relief in an overburdened world. "We’re not just a cleaning service; we’re a customer service company that happens to clean."
"The first step is to call our office and receive a quote over the phone. If you prefer, you can also receive a quote through our website. This is a great time to tell us your needs, what parts of your home you'd like cleaned, and how frequently."
"Next, we will schedule your first large inital cleaning, with maintenance cleanings to follow. You will also receive a welcome packet, policy information, and best tips on how to work with us successfully."
"I'm a big believer in creating a relationship that's mutually beneficial for everyone. Along with the welcome packet, you will receive automated reminders for when we are coming to clean. You'll even receive a little magnet that tells you all your dates for the year!"
"After each cleaning, we ask for your feedback. It only takes 30 seconds, and we utilize your feedback to tell us what we are doing right and what we can improve for you so we can perfect the relationship for years to come."
not just a cleaning service; we’re a customer
company that happens to clean."

Urinary incontinence can significantly impact a person’s quality of life. However, it doesn't have to.
The team at Everest Regenerative Medicine offers a trio of services collectively known as EmpowerRF to help patients treat this common ailment.
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary loss of bladder control, leading to the unintentional release of urine. It can range from a minor, occasional leak when coughing, sneezing, or laughing—known as stress incontinence—to a sudden, strong urge to urinate that is difficult to manage—known as urge incontinence.
This condition can result from a variety of causes, including weakened pelvic floor muscles, certain medical conditions like diabetes or neurological disorders, or lifestyle factors such as excessive caffeine or alcohol intake. Urinary incontinence can affect people of all ages and genders, though it is more common in women and older adults, particularly after childbirth or menopause.
"Anywhere between 15% to 60% of women of childbearing age and above will have some degree of stress incontinence," Everest Provider and CEO, Dr. Arden Beachy said. "Urge incontinence affects about 10% of women in their 30s and about 30% of women by the age of 65."
EmpowerRF includes three devices that work in different ways to help women with urinary incontinence.
• V Tone: This electrical muscle stimulator resembles a small tampon and delivers the equivalent of 25,000 Kegels in just 30 minutes. Patients on average receive eight V Tone treatments to adequately strengthen pelvic floor muscles to curb stress incontinence.
• FormaV: This is a radiofrequency with heat therapy device used both internally and externally to tighten tissue, improve lubrication, and address issues like infections or discharge.
• Morpheus8V: Using radiofrequency microneedling with heat, this device remodels and strengthens tissues in the internal vaginal canal. It’s more intensive but very well-tolerated, with minimal downtime. The recommended protocol includes three Morpheus8V treatments scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.
“All these treatments can be combined to create a comprehensive approach to pelvic floor health and urinary incontinence," Crystal Amundson, PA-C said.
"We can also use PRP injections to promote healing and regeneration," Dr. Beachy said. “PRP is rich in growth factors that enhance tissue integrity, reduce inflammation, and improve sensitivity. This rejuvenation supports better function and quality of life.”
Both Amundson and Beachy stress the importance of addressing symptoms early.
“The earlier you address these issues, the easier they are to correct," Dr. Beachy said. "By catching them early, your body doesn’t develop bad habits, especially with urgency incontinence.”
“Prevention is key. After having a baby, many women wonder if they can recover faster," Amundson said. "The answer is yes—these treatments provide an effective way to regain strength and address symptoms sooner.”
One of the key benefits of these treatments is their minimally invasive nature.
“Many people want to avoid surgery,” Dr. Beachy said. “These treatments encourage your body to rebuild tissue and strengthen muscles naturally, without foreign materials or scars.”
Urinary incontinence is common, but it doesn’t have to define your life. These treatments and the team at Everest Regenerative Medicine offer effective solutions tailored to individual needs. Whether you’re looking to address existing symptoms or prevent future issues, early
intervention and a personalized approach can make all the difference.
“Our goal is to help women achieve better function and quality of life,” Dr. Beachy said. “With these advanced treatments, we’re making that possible.”

Trisha Lake and her daughter Taylor are offering boutique fashion for all women!
By Josiah Kopp | Josiah Kopp
ith a passion for business and exploring new opportunities, TLC Cleaning Owner
Trisha Lake and her daughter Taylor added 'fashion' to their resumes, purchasing Mainstream Boutique in September of 2024. Together, they are building a dream as a mother-daughter business duo.
“Mainstream Boutique Fargo is more than a store,” Trisha said. “It’s a dream that we’re building together as a family. It’s about showing my daughter what it means to build something you believe in.”
Between navigating high school through the pandemic, taking AP courses, and helping care for her siblings, Taylor found herself burned out, ready for a fresh new start. As Taylor transitioned into adulthood, Trisha saw an opportunity to help her daughter gain practical experience. "I’m new to being the mom of an adult, so I had to figure out what that looked like," Trisha said. "I wanted to transition her into adult responsibilities, like handling bills and making decisions about her future."
Taylor had been working a local job for three years, which she enjoyed despite the low pay. However,
after deciding against college, Taylor and Trisha began exploring other options. For Trisha, who had built her own business over the past 15 years, the idea of acquiring another business had always been intriguing. That's when they discovered Mainstream Boutique.
Trish and Taylor saw reviving the boutique as the perfect opportunity to work together and continue building their relationship, both as mother and daughter and as business partners. "It was something I could see myself doing with Taylor," Trisha said. "Taylor loves fashion, clothing, and the process of buying and selling. She had previously done some clothing resale, so this felt like a natural extension of something we could do together in the fashion world."
“Watching Taylor take ownership of her ideas and seeing her excitement grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life,” Trisha said. “This store isn’t just about clothes—it’s about building confidence and celebrating who you are.”
Mainstream Boutique Fargo has become a family success story as well as a community treasure. The store is known for its signature “Shop for a Cause” events, where proceeds are donated to local charities and causes close to the hearts of their customers. These events have helped foster a sense of belonging and purpose, turning shoppers into friends and supporters.
“We listen to our customers because they’re the heartbeat of our store,” Taylor said. “When someone comes in looking for something specific, we take it to heart.” For example, the boutique recently decided to stock a large order of Mac and Me jeans after overwhelming customer demand. Additionally, the store is now open daily weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, making it easier for customers to find time to shop.
Since reopening under Trisha and Taylor’s leadership, Mainstream Boutique's inventory has tripled, bringing in new styles and a wide range of fits. While catering to all sizes and body types, they wanted to give the Fargo-Moorhead area a boutique with fashionable plus-size options.
“When you step inside Mainstream, you can expect a very personalized experience,” Taylor said. Unlike large department stores, she is often available to help customers find the right styles and answer questions.
Designed by the founders of and exclusively carried by Mainstream Boutique, Mac and Me jeans are a favorite among shoppers, providing fits and sizes for everyone. "These are the most popular items that we have in the store—people love the fit of them!"- Trisha Lake, co-owner
As a multi-generational fashion store, Mainstream Boutique offers "contemporary mainstream" styles for grandmothers, mothers, and daughters alike. The boutique carries everyday attire, fun work clothing, comfortable sweaters, jeans, accessories, and more. Seasonal collections, like Valentine’s Day selections, keep the store fresh and exciting.
Accessories such as hats, scarves, and jewelry are also available, perfect for
cold weather or date nights. Trisha and Taylor’s differing fashion styles allow them to curate a broad array of items, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
“For me, as a mom, I think one big thing that is really fun is that I get to spend time working on something with my daughter,” Trisha said.
Looking ahead, the mother-daughter duo is excited about this new chapter for Mainstream Boutique and looks forward to welcoming shoppers into their store.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the voting for the 2024 HOME by Trendsetters Awards. We also want to extend a special thank you to all the hardworking and talented individuals in the home building, interior design, architecture, and general contracting industries who help bring these beautiful homes to life—you're the reason we get to share these stories and projects. We look forward to sharing more in 2025.
"I remember when I first stumbled upon this downtown Fargo gem—I thought, 'There's no way this place is real.' Milo’s Place feels more like a fairytale home than an Airbnb rental. Packed with vibrant colors in every room, easter eggs, and history, this rental has so much to offer to its guests. Congratulations to Andrew, Jeremy, and everyone who made this whimsical home a reality." -
Josiah Kopp, Editor
"The Dutch" was the first project we featured in HOME by Trendsetters in 2024, and I believe it set the tone for the rest of the year, showcasing vibrant colors, bold florals, and pure elegance. We always get excited seeing all of Christen Joy's passion projects—this one features the primary and guest bathrooms inside her own home. Congrats to Christen and her team on their beautiful creations in 2024." - Josiah Kopp, Editor
"I had the privilege of photographing this Rockinghorse Farm new build, and I just remember the mental 'wow's' every time I turned a new corner in the home. My favorite design feature is the open concept balcony upstairs, overlooking the main level living area and kitchen. The home feels grand yet intimate and inclusive. I remember visiting with homeowner and Klein Custom Homes Interior Designer Traci VanBruggen about her vision for the layout, which she wanted to be functional for the needs of her family—I absolutely love the end result. Congrats to the Klein Custom Homes team on this build!" - Josiah Kopp, Editor
Minot, ND, native Brock Goossen grew up spending his summers in Palm Desert, CA, where he played soccer and shadowed his father on job sites. His father's work as a contractor and soccer coach instilled in Brock a passion for construction, teamwork, and a competitive spirit, while his mother’s side of the family nurtured his work ethic and introduced him to real estate.
After earning his bachelor's degree in chemistry at Concordia College in 2012, he decided to pursue his passion for building, which led him to spend six years with a production builder, eventually managing client relations and projects. In 2019, he joined Hawthorne Custom Homes (HCH) as construction operations director and part-owner. HCH specializes in residential custom building and remodeling, incorporating clients' dreams into each home. Their unique approach uses an online build portal to streamline communication.
"You name it, and we'll make it happen," Brock said. Hawthorne's custom builds range from gourmet kitchens to hidden wine cellars and sports courts. HCH has grown from building three homes in 2019 to over a dozen projects in 2024, expanding into Minnesota and branching into remodeling projects.
Brock is also involved in the Fargo-Moorhead community by being a member of the BIA-RRV, a board liaison for the Ambassador's Committee, and a member of the Education Committee. He volunteers at events such as the Health Trades and Career Expo, the Home and Garden Show, and numerous Home Builder's Care Foundation initiatives. "It's our mission to keep our youth involved and facilitate learning opportunities for our future workforce," Brock said. Additionally, he stays active in the local soccer community, having coached for over 12 years and serves as an assistant varsity coach for the Fargo Davies boys' soccer team.
"Design styles for 2025 are seeing a resurgence of warmth throughout our homes. Whether it's through natural wood accents or more beige-toned colors, these elements are making their way into a lot of our designs right now. White oak remains at the top of the list, with whitewashes, gray washes, and light stains being the most popular. Mixing in stark contrasts here and there really gives a pop!
"The time to build is now! Market stats are picking up, and starting early is key. Begin collecting ideas—Pinterest boards, design themes, and favorite features. Prioritize your must-haves to make the design

Color rush rooms are making a statement too—painting trim, walls, ceiling, and cabinets all in one color, then accented with lighting, fixtures, or custom woodworking. We're loving dark greens to slate tones paired with matte gold or champagne brass. Fluted cabinet fronts, doors, and accent tiles are also trending, providing a modern style with a traditional feel. Fargo native Savana (Miller) Bonnema discovered her passion for interior design early on, pursuing Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) at NDSU, and graduating at 23 years old. During her final year, she interned at Trever Hill Design, where she learned the ins and outs of residential design. Though she initially pursued a career in commercial design at an architecture firm after graduation, Savana found her heart was still drawn to residential projects.
Reconnecting with Trever Hill Design, she seized the opportunity to join as a full-time designer, and hasn't looked back since. Savana thrives
on the details that make each project unique, from distinct tile selections and textured wall coverings to creating one-of-a-kind floor plans.
Savana is passionate about the multifaceted nature of interior design and loves educating clients on the process. Beyond selecting finishes, she believes in the importance of construction drawings, lighting plans, and 3D renderings, collaborating closely with contractors and architects to bring each project to life. Her dedication to crafting dream spaces for clients fuels her daily at Trever Hill Design, where she continues bringing creativity and a personal touch to every home she works on.
"To achieve a timeless design, I believe it's important to incorporate a range of colors—even if those 'colors' are just different shades of a base hue—you don't always need vibrant colors to create interest. I love using a neutral palette as a foundation while introducing accents with decor and lighting.
After attending the Las Vegas market twice in 2024, I noticed a lot of natural travertine used in lighting— from wall sconces to floor lamps. Earthy textures and organic shapes, especially in mirrors and chandeliers, are definitely trending. A natureinspired palette is on the rise, blending warm taupes, beiges, and browns with subtle grey tones to keep the design feeling balanced and inviting."
"I would recommend to new build homeowners that it is worth taking your time in selecting finishes during the process of your new build. I find that it is best not to rush these choices
all at once or in one store you walk into. Your vision will come to life with a little patience and pay off when you find that perfect bathroom sconce you've been envisioning!"
Principal Designer & Owner, Trever Hill Design
Trever Hill grew up splitting his time between North and South Dakota, always dreaming of becoming a designer. Inspired by his aunt, who worked in interior design, Trever was captivated by watching her transform spaces. "I often wish I could tell my younger self about the incredible career ahead of me," he said.
Today, as the owner and principal designer at Trever Hill Design (THD), Trever specializes in commercial and residential projects—and when you choose THD for a project, you're not just collaborating with Trever but also a talented, creative team. He focuses on tailoring every space to the client, ensuring their needs and tastes shine through. “The design doesn’t live in the space—the client does,” Trever said. He also helps clients navigate trends,
balancing what speaks to them with designs that will stand the test of time.
In addition to their award-winning design work, Trever Hill Design also gives back to the community, volunteering for organizations like Feed My Starving Children and Hope Blooms, and donating time or products to charitable auctions. Trever is proud of Fargo’s supportive entrepreneurial spirit, often showcasing the city to friends from other states, who are always impressed by its charm and hospitality.
"One of the clear changes in 2024 and moving into 2025 is the mixing of styles. People are throwing out an idea of a theme and focusing on what they love. Each space should feel special and represent the person or company. You'll see vintage pieces that have been handed down for generations mixed with sleek new

items that you've never seen before. Also, the use of color is making a major return—everyone went through a gray phase and then a beige-and-white phase. Now it's about balancing tones and giving richness to a space."

Kimberly Krueger Tehan was born into the world of homebuilding in 1984, the same year her family founded Krueger Construction. Growing up, she witnessed her parents’ sacrifices and dedication to building quality homes and lasting relationships with families in the community. Fast forward 40 years, and Kim now oversees marketing, sales, and design for the company, marking Krueger Construction’s 40th anniversary in 2024.
Kim’s journey includes playing volleyball in Fargo, earning a degree in marketing and communications from UND, serving as Miss North Dakota USA 2006, and working in public relations in Manhattan. As a graduate of the United Way 35 Under 35 program, a former youth leader at Hope Lutheran Church, and an avid supporter of local youth nonprofits, Kim is deeply involved in the Fargo-Moorhead community. "Some of my favorite trends for 2025 are the mixing of vintage antiques with modern decor, the mixing of metals, and investing in unique quality pieces that you love brings more joy than having the same as everyone else.
I also like the 'less is more' concept, clearing out the 'stuff' and keeping things more simple with designs and decor. Expressing your authenticity through the personal style of your home brings greater joy long-term."
"One thing to remember in any project is to spend money on quality products that are not easy to change out years later. One example is interior and exterior doors with quality

For Michael, great design is about more than creating beautiful spaces—it’s about making a meaningful impact.
"Neo is always striving to be ahead of the trends. We believe that no home, business, or space should feel like it falls into a 'time period.' Our goal is to not have someone come into your home and say, 'Wow! You
can tell this was built (insert year)!' That being said, it is our opinion that a good mix of patterns, materials, and design styles should be used in order to create a cohesive and eclectic design."
"My tip for new build homeowners is to hire a designer not only for your interiors but to help you decide on sub-contractors. Designers have
most likely worked with all trades and can assist in guiding you to the best installers and most-reliable subcontractors."
Kristen Carlson, principal designer and owner of Studio Rogue Interior Design, has been bringing bold and imaginative designs to life for over a decade. Her passion for creativity began in childhood, whether building custom homes for her dolls and cats or constantly reimagining her bedroom. By middle school, she knew she was destined to be an interior designer.
A graduate of NDSU’s Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) program, Kristen launched Studio Rogue with a mission to create designs that dare to step off the beaten path. “Every project is a chance to take
clients on a design journey beyond their comfort zones, blending bold creativity with practicality,” Kristen said. She thrives on mixing eclectic styles, blending vintage with modern or bold colors with classic neutrals, crafting spaces that are functional, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Beyond her work, Kristen is an active member of the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley and serves as vice chair of the Professional Women in Building Council. She has also been involved with the FM Curling Club for 11 years.
"In 2025, we’re shifting toward cozy, inviting palettes paired with daring contrasts of moody, dramatic colors. Jewel tones, like deep emeralds, rich sapphires, and bold rubies are taking center stage, adding an elevated and sophisticated vibe to spaces. These tones create depth and richness that feel both timeless and luxurious. The trend? It’s all about embracing color in a way that feels bold yet comforting—a perfect mix for today's interiors. When it comes to materials in interior design, I’m all about incorporating natural elements, especially warm woods. Right now, white oak is having a big
moment—and for good reason. It has that perfect balance of warmth and elegance, adding just the right touch of sophistication and longevity to any space. Natural materials are key to creating a design that feels both fresh and enduring, no matter your style. Wallcoverings are making a major comeback, and I’m here for it! Bold accents in colors, patterns, and textures are becoming a go-to, and they’re a fantastic way to show off a client’s personality. It’s all about thinking beyond the walls and using these patterns to elevate any space in unexpected ways!"
"Don’t forget about accent lighting! It’s the secret sauce that takes a home from 'nice' to 'wow!' Think LED mirrors, light-up closet rods, undercabinet lighting, or even spotlighting your favorite artwork. These little touches of
illumination do more than just brighten up a space—they create mood, highlight key features, and add an extra layer of sophistication. It’s all about making your home feel functional and stylish, right down to the last glow."

"At Design 2 Sell and Allure, we have been so ecstatic to see more color being incorporated and used! The slightest bit of color brings so much life into a space and we are here for it! Try starting small with interchangeable throw pillows, blankets, area rugs,
bedding, and more. We have been seeing more and more clients take risks and make bolder moves in the designs of their homes. We also love all of the organic textures of furniture and lighting!"
"For first-time home buyers, I would highly recommend moving into the space and feeling out how you will be using your new home prior to doing too much pre-planning. I can assure
you those plans will change as you begin to utilize your new home. Feel things out, experiment, and then make a better decision on the updates you want to make!"

Fast forward to 2024, Leah and her sister, Chelsey Johnson, took over the firm, moving it to a new space and marking an exciting new chapter for the family business.
Specializing in commercial projects and custom homes, Leah collaborates closely with interior designers to bring her client’s visions to life. What sets Prairie Design Studio apart is its roots as a family business combined with its commitment to delivering efficient, client-focused designs. Leah draws inspiration from the Fargo-Moorhead area’s unique blend of small-town charm and vibrant activities. "In regards to design trends of architectural spaces, I think we will be incorporating more wellness areas around the home, as society has become more focused on health. I anticipate a rise in features like saunas, meditation areas, yoga and workout rooms, and the integration of plants. All while incorporating natural
"My number one advice to homeowners deciding to build is to design your home after selecting your lot. Too many people select or design a home before they even know where they are going to build. The land your home sits on plays a crucial role in determining how well your spaces function. Factors like sun orientation, views, land topography, privacy, energy efficiency,
views or elements, calm lighting, and a soothing ambiance. Additionally, I expect to see a trend towards organic shapes and edges, which create cozy, natural elements, like curved kitchen islands, walls, and furniture pieces."
winds, and other factors can significantly impact the homeowners' experience. You could place the exact same house on two different properties and each one will have a different experience. By designing with your specific property in mind, you can optimize your home's performance and comfort, ensuring it's perfectly suited to its environment."

"As someone who has lived on the West Coast for five years and has traveled to over 20 countries, Christen brings a unique insight into art, culture, and design trends to the Red River Valley. "We're continuing to see warmth throughout color in 2025—warm whites coupled with blues, greens, and hints of warm reds. We also love seeing the velvet textures throughout home decor—think furniture, pillows, and accent pieces, perfect for fall and winter.

Specializing primarily in residential projects, Monica assists with floor plans, framing ideas, maximizing storage, and material selections. "Customizing furniture pieces with fabrics and leathers to reflect the client and their lifestyle is always a great choice. Custom doesn't always mean more expensive— just that you have to wait a little longer until it is made. Mixing metals between hardware, light fixtures, and
lamps always adds an interesting and eclectic touch making a space feel pulled together rather than matchymatchy. Add personality to your home with accent paint, wallcovering, and interesting artwork to make your home feel unique—and like you!"
"Empty nesters who are remodeling should keep flexibility and future medical and family needs in mind.
Plan the design for how you live now but also keep in mind how your lifestyle will evolve in the coming years."
