Difficulty: moderate
Difficulty: moderate
Get there: From Farmer’s Loop Road, take Summit Drive to Cranberry Ridge, or Skyline Drive to the top of Crestline Drive. Follow Cranberry Ridge uphill to Noel Drive. Public access to the park is at the Skyline Ridge trailhead at the top corner of Noel Drive and M.I.A. Street. Parking is limited. Distance: Expect to cover 1-3 miles at Skyline Ridge Park depending on how many signs you try and find in a day. Tips: All the trails at Skyline Ridge Park are non-motorized. Parking at the trailhead is limited; Please park courteously. For a nice loop under 2 miles, travel down the main ridge trail until you meet a major junction with the Goldstream Connector trail. On your left you can spy a little trail that heads downhill to connect to the Secret Trail on your left. Head along the trail that eventually takes you back uphill to the trailhead. The ridge trail is very wide and smooth while the Secret trail is narrow and rooty. Come prepared with your favorite method of avoiding mosquitoes!

Difficulty: moderate
Get there: Ballaine Lake off University Avenue across from Army Road has the nearest parking, but you could choose any of the campus parking areas depending on you intended route. Main Campus parking requires a fee during weekday business hours and fee stations can be found at each parking lot. Distance: Expect at least 1 mile to get this sign, but it's more fun if you do a longer loop! Tips: These trails are strictly non-motorized and are skiing only in the winter. Pick your route from Ballaine Lake carefully as several sections are wet or underwater! You may have to jump back and forth between Skarland trail and the Reishus trail to stay dry.
