UPDATE We miss you! Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation is working hard planning for the return of recreation facilities and programming while adhering to state and public health guidance. As of July 29th, most facilities are closed thru August 17th, 2020. This is subject to change.
The following facilities/services are currently CLOSED to the public: Wescott Pool Mary Siah Recreation Center Big Dipper Ice Arena Pioneer Park indoor facilities & Train Picnic Shelter reservations The following facilities are passive/limited use: Tanana Lakes Recreation Area Chena Lake Recreation Area Outdoor parks and trails Pioneer Park open spaces Artificial Turf Fields Boat rentals at Chena Lake

Be advised that many of these facilities do not have restrooms. Facility status is being evaluated on a daily basis and subject to change. Please keep in mind our staffing and resources are limited due to COVID-19 mandate requirements and we are responding as quickly as possible to changing mandates and guidelines.

SWIMMING IS A GO!
Hamme Pool and Wescott Pool are accepting reservations for Lap Swim, Family Swim & Water Walking! There is no cost to reserve a spot, admission applies when you arrive at the pool - $4.00 Youth/Senior, $6.00 Adult. Locker rooms are NOT available - Shower before arriving and come in your swim suit. All patrons shall wear a face covering when not in the water. Patrons will be screened at the front desk.
Walk in use and water slides are not available at this time.
