CPD Opportunities A FANTASTIC 3 DAY CONFERENCE TO INSPIRE OUTSTANDING PRACTICE! Achieving Excellence - Ensuring Challenge and Progression in Early Childhood Learning Led by Kym Scott, Early Years Trainer, Consultant and Conference Speaker 3 day conference: £275 (11,500 THB)
Individual day: £100 (4300 THB)
Dates: Friday 15th November 2019 Saturday 16th November 2019 Sunday 17th November 2019
Time: 9.30-3.30pm Time: 9.30-3.30pm Time: 9.30-2.30pm (1hr surgery afterwards)
Venue: St Andrew’s International School, Bangkok This 3 day conference will be led by acclaimed conference speaker, international consultant and early years expert Kym Scott. Kym is well known across the UK for her engaging delivery style, deep knowledge of how children learn best, and most importantly the huge impact she has made on the hundreds of teachers, schools and nurseries she has worked with over her 20 year consultancy career. Over the course of the 3 days she will be unpicking the key elements that underpin successful teaching and learning in the Early Years and will be sharing both the theory and research behind these, and examples of how they transfer into practice. Throughout each day, Kym will provide opportunities for self-evaluation and discussion, balanced with the opportunity to see real life examples of excellence from the many schools and nurseries she has worked with over the years. Extensive support tools and documentation will also be provided for use back in schools. Delegates will leave feeling inspired, informed and empowered to make developments back in their school. It is recommended that delegates attend all three days, but there is also the option to book individual days as required. About Kym Scott: Before becoming an international speaker and consultant, Kym was Early Years Lead in the London Borough of Lewisham. This enabled her to support many schools & settings in a variety of circumstances & to informally research the key elements that make for excellent outcomes for children. Lewisham has been named as one of the top places in the country for children's development due to how well children in the borough consistently achieve at the end of the EYFS. Kym is frequently praised for her clear, realistic & highly practical advice, and for the impact she makes on those she works with. Testimonials: “Kym¹s training was world class. She opened our minds to a whole new way of leading learning. She really challenged us and moved our practice on, but did it all in a way that left us feeling empowered, informed and enlightened. If you want to improve significantly the quality of teaching and learning in your setting, then you need look no further” Dr Neil Hopkin FRSA, Principal (at the time), Dover Court International School, Singapore "In Kym Scott, we found a consultant that matches our ambitions for the children at our school. Through close work with our leaders and teaching team, she helped us identify priorities, build confidence and knowledge in our practitioners and develop a plan for the future of EYFS that meets the needs and aspirations of our families. It is great to work with a consultant who is so passionate about what they do and so impact driven." Jared Nolan, Head of Primary, British International School Puxi, Shanghai
