Slow Cooker Pinto Beans Ingredients 1 pound pinto beans chicken stock, vegetable stock or water (enough to cover the beans in the slow cooker) a few cloves garlic (minced) 1 tablespoon cumin 1 teaspoon salt Instructions Soak the beans in water overnight. The next day, rinse and drain. In the slow cooker, combine beans, stock or water, garlic, cumin and salt. Cook on low heat for 8 hours.
