D I R E C TO R ’ S N O T E S I absolutely love this time of year. Every snowflake brings a touch of magic and it’s difficult not to get excited about the music and the characters and stories that the holiday season brings to life. At the same time, I think that it’s important to recognize that the holiday season isn’t only love and joy and peace…for some of us, it can be a very challenging time of year. That’s why I love Candy Cane Tales and Holiday Carols…this WCT tradition allows everyone an affordable, festive, community glimpse of all aspects of the holiday season. And the best part is…it’s a lot of fun! Whatever holiday you’re celebrating, we wish you joy, merriment, and the love of family and friends as you do it! Katie Danner Director

S P O T L I G H T O N T H E B OA R D O F D I R E C TO R S Ahh …. the Holiday Season. Red and green, holly and mistletoe, family and friends, presents and cards, shopping and spending, too much to do, not enough time, how will this all get done, ayiiii! Take a little time right now to sit back, relax, and enjoy Waukesha Civic Theatre’s holiday variety show. We hope that this show will be a welcome respite from any tasks left to do, and remind us all that Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and all of the season’s holidays are first and foremost about being together and celebrating that togetherness. We’re glad that you chose to be with WCT this season! Thanks and enjoy the show. Sue Herro Secretary, Board of Directors

M AD CORNER As Andy Williams said, “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year.” And in the words of Blues Traveler “If it’s Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, Solstice Harvest, or December 25th, peace on earth to everyone, and abundance to everyone you’re with.” I love this season, and I love WCT’s tradition of presenting an affordable family show for the community to enjoy. This season we continue to build a tradition that has long been a dream of mine, Candy Cane Tales And Holiday Carols, a holiday variety show that gives us a little bit of everything. We hope you enjoy the stories, the music, the characters, and the sentiment as much as we do. And remember, if you’re looking for a good gift to give this season, consider our PIX 3 for $39 … a wonderful gift of theatre to share with anyone! Happy Holidays!
