HISTORY

CCC Historic Properties and Programming Update Even though we’ve shuttered and winterized the Kuhefuss House Museum, the Historic Properties and Programs Committee is hard at work behind the scenes preparing our spring and summer offerings. Research is being done, hands-on props are being added and docents are getting ready for our popular school tour program which launches again in May 2014. Over the past few years, attendance by area school children has more than doubled and now includes public and parochial schools as well as scout troops from Cedarburg, Grafton and Jackson. This growing program has really energized the committee and the excitement of guiding over 450 children through Cedarburg is almost palpable when the docents meet. The Historic Properties and Programs Committee is also gearing up for its summer tour season which kicks off in June 2014 and continues on weekends through the end of August. Don’t forget to stop by when we’re open! Watch for details in our summer newsletter. As always, if you are interested in being a docent for our 2014 school tours or our summer and Christmas tour seasons, please contact Sue Gyarmati at the Cedarburg Cultural Center and she will pass along your information. She can be reached at Sue@ArtMusicHistory.org or at 262-375-3676 ext. 106.
