Kathleen Buckley began her career penciling

semi-original comics at her Nana’s dining room table, quickly progressing to acrylic-on-canvas clown paintings, before figuring out that graphic design would afford her a better living. She was born in New York and still considers the East Coast home. When she moved to Chicago, she discovered product design and now spends her days masquerading as a product developer. Someday soon she believes she will sleep seven consecutive hours. Kathleen also writes about things that have happened and sometimes about things that have not.

Stacie Burrows is one funny mother of two. She

laughs, she cries, she vents, and she curses. And if she’s bothered enough, she’ll make something hilarious out her frustration. If you’re so inclined, or bored to death, you can read some of her rants in her column Seriously Funny in the Travelogue section at KidKitWorld.com or on Felicity Huffman’s site for moms Whattheflicka.com. Stacie and her comedy soulmate Shannon Noel created a two-woman show called, I’m Not From Here But My Kids Are. It’s a comedic look into the true story of two Southern women raising their kids in Hollywood. This is Stacie’s 4th time appearing in Expressing Motherhood and she couldn’t be more happy about it!

Robin Maxfield is a mother of two girls,

Victoria, 20 and Violet, 14. She also hosts Boston’s ONLY all female comedy night (http://bostoncomedychicks. com) and and a monthly story slam as well. She produces the HAHA MAMA Mother’s Day Comedy show in Boston every Mother’s Day. By day she trains and coaches business executives on communicating effectively and dynamically with The Speech Improvement Company (http://speechimprovement.com) in Brookline, MA.

...a modern day village... Jayme Miller is overwhelmingly thrilled to be a part

of Expressing Motherhood Chicago! Jayme lives in Marseilles, IL with her husband and children. Jayme and Eddie were childhood sweethearts, and married in 2000. They are the proud parents to four amazing children, Nolen,11, Packston, 8, and Jacy and Addyson, 6. Jayme is a graduate of Eastern Illinois and St. Francis University. She was an elementary teacher before making the difficult decision to stay home with her kids. She actually enjoys the hustle of the kids’ schedules and activities and works as a Real Estate Broker and substitute teacher whenever possible. Jayme is grateful for the love and support of family and friends, for the examples set by all the women in her life, and the “push” from Stacey Burke to give this a try. She would like to dedicate her performance to her husband and kids.

Shannon Noel is thrilled to be a part of Expressing

Motherhood Chicago. The last time she was here was to see Madonna’s ‘Who’s That Girl’ tour at Soldier Field. Shannon grew up in KY but now lives in Los Angeles with her soccer playing husband, her 3 and 4 year old, very energetic sons and her male, 110lb, Old English Sheepdog - that’s a lot of boys in the house. More Madonna please. She works at the Geffen Playhouse , is a graduate of Second City, LA, and blogs about it all at LullabiesforMommy. com. She is so excited to be sharing the stage with her comedy soul mate Stacie Burrows - with whom she performs the 2 woman comedy - I’m Not From Here But My Kids Are. Thank you Lindsay and Jessica for creating this amazing space for all of us moms to share our joys, our pains, and our shot glasses!
