BIO’S Chris Flieller (Director/Artistic Director, In Tandem Theatre) A fixture both on and backstage for more than 25 years in Milwaukee, Chris has numerous credits to his name. Acting credits include In Tandem Theatre, Skylight Opera Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Theatre X, First Stage Children’s Theatre, and the Marcus Center/Milwaukee Repertory. Among his directing credits are WONDER OF THE WORLD, SHAW SHORTS, THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES, HOLIDAY HELL, POLISH FROST, HOME, EQUUS (in a co-presentation with the UWM undergraduate acting program), OLD WICKED SONGS and most recently, ART OF MURDER for In Tandem. Chris directed ORPHEUS DESCENDING for the UWM Theatre Program and coaches numerous dialect and performance workshops. Chris looks forward to bringing back TEA AT FIVE, the story of Katharine Hepburn featuring the incomparable Angela Iannone, to In Tandem this August. Jane Flieller (Managing Director, In Tandem Theatre) A former stage manager, Jane toured nationally with the Great American Children’s Theatre Company and has worked locally for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Theatre Tesseract, Next Act Theatre and Next Generation Theatre. For several years, Jane was the stage manager for ComedySportz, a position she originated. She co-founded In Tandem Theatre with her husband, Chris, in 1998 and now unleashes her creative energies in all aspects of running a small arts organization. Jane’s directing credits include In Tandem, Whitefish Bay High School, Carroll College and Broadway Baby Dinner Theatre. As always, she gives thanks to her beloved husband, partner and best friend, Chris, through whom all things are possible. She dedicates this season to her father, Richard Aronson (1926-2010).
David Bonofiglio (Musical Director/ Accompanist) David, a Milwaukee native, holds a BFA in piano performance from Cardinal Stritch University. As a freelance pianist and accompanist, David has worked for many area theatre companies as accompanist and musical director. Recent theatre credits include SCROOGE IN ROUGE, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, A CUDAHY CAROLER CHRISTMAS, HANSEL AND GRETEL, ongoing music supervision for FOUR GUYZ IN DINNER JACKETS, as well as cabaret appearances at the Skylight Opera’s Miller Cabaret. Upcoming projects include MY LIFE: THE MUSICAL featuring Beth Mulkerron at Skylight’s Miller Cabaret. In addition to his theatrical work, David is currently the Director of Liturgical Music at Saint Matthias Parish in Milwaukee, WI. Adam Estes (Nathan Leopold) Adam is delighted to be making his In Tandem debut. Recent credits include Jeff in [title of show] at The Lake Dillon Theatre, Gregory Gardner in A CHORUS LINE at The Marriott Lincolnshire and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (starring Patti LuPone) at The Ravinia Festival. Joe is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Jonathon Leubner (Sound Design) Jonathon is pleased to help transport In Tandem Theatre’s discerning audiences back in time to the crime of the century of the 1920’s in the musical THRILL ME. Jonathon has spent the past 27 years providing award winning audio production to theater, film, commercial, documentary, television and music recording projects. His past awards include an Emmy, numerous Silver Microphone, Addy and BPME awards, as well as a Grammy award nomination. It has been his privilege to work and create alongside the talented directors, designers, actors, theater staff and volunteers that all bring the magic to the stage of In Tandem Theatre. Jonathon dedicates all of his work to his beautiful wife Mary and their three wonderful boys for their endless inspiration, love and support. Pam Rehberg (Costume Design) Pam joyfully returns for THRILL ME having last worked for In Tandem on THE APPLE TREE. Pam is an Associate Professor at UW – Milwaukee and teaches courses in draping, pattern making and costume design. Past design work for In Tandem includes EQUUS and TWO ROOMS. and HA!. This season you may have seen her work at Renaissance Theatreworks’ REASONS TO BE PRETTY, and MAURITIUS with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. Past favorites include RABBIT HOLE (Milwaukee Chamber Theatre), THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Madison Repertory Theatre), and THE INTERNATIONALIST (Boulevard Ensemble). In addition to lighting for theatre productions, Holly designs lighting for architectural projects around the city and state. If you find yourself in the lobby of the Rep’s Steimke Theatre or anywhere inside the police station in Middleton, Wisconsin, you will see some of her recently completed handiwork. Thanks Chris and Jane!! Rick A. Rasmussen (Set Designer) Rick is happy to making his design debut with In Tandem Theatre Company. Currently living in Seattle, he is a frequent visitor to the Milwaukee area. Some of the theatres with whom he is currently working are Next Act Theatre, Fireside Dinner Theatre, Skylight Opera Theatre, Chamber Theatre and Renaissance Theatreworks. Some of Rick’s favorite design projects this season have been, A SLEEPING COUNTRY with Next Act Theatre, DAMES AT SEA at the Skylight Opera, CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY at Renaissance Theatreworks and ANNIE at the Fireside Theatre. Mary Buchel (Rehearsal Stage Manager/Crew) Mary will soon graduate from UWM’s Theatre program where she has appeared in OUR TOWN and BY THE BOG OF CATS. At the Boulevard Ensemble Theatre, Mary was seen in CATHOLIC SCHOOLGIRLS and in CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD for Soulstice Theatre. As a Dramaturg, she has created several discovery guides for In Tandem’s productions. Mary recently completed an internship in stage management for In Tandem’s MURDER AT THE HOWARD

Colin Gawronski (Board Operator) Colin is happy to be working with In Tandem for the first time. Colin is a graduating senior at UW-Milwaukee where he has studied stage management and hair/ make-up as well as lighting. Give love always. Cindy Thomas (Administrative/ Marketing Assistant, In Tandem Theatre) Cindy has been with In Tandem Theatre since August of 2008 as Marketing/ Administrative Assistant. She has been involved with the arts, especially music, since she can remember. After graduating in 1981 from Silver Lake College with a BA in Voice and a minor in music business, Thomas moved to Milwaukee where she managed the print music departments of two local music stores and worked in sales/marketing for a print music publishing company. Cindy has sung and performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Music Under the Stars, Bel Canto Chorus, and is currently a member of the Florentine Opera Chorus.
Miranda Levy (Gallery Curator, In Tandem Theatre’s Tenth Street Gallery) Miranda grew up in Wilton, Wisconsin and joined the military at seventeen. She served eight years in the Army as a construction equipment mechanic where she was fortunate enough to serve in Germany for two months of the three years of her active duty service. Shortly after her tour on Active Duty, she attended UW-Milwaukee where she received her BFA in Photography and Fibers in 2009. Throughout her career as an artist, she has competed in several local juried exhibitions and has shown her work in fashion shows at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Her artwork compares the decoration of domestic spaces with the decoration of the female body, and explores how identity is formed though this process.
D I R E C TO R ’ S N O T E S So much has been written regarding these two young men -- trial transcripts, analyses, plays, movies, and so on. But all that has been written, even the parole hearing transcripts, fail to answer the one unanswerable questions: Why? No one can now, ultimately, what resided in the secret chambers of the hearts of these two men. Richard Loeb was a keenly intelligent, seductive charmer who was equally at ease with CEO’s or janitors. Nathan Leopold was his intellectual superior in every way, with an IQ of 210, yet terribly uncomfortable, even off-putting, in social situations. They couldn’t be more different, but they completed each other like two sides of the same person. How could they have done what they did? This work postulates one scenario that does not pose an answer per se, but rather raises questions about the uses and abuses of power and the mysterious line between love and obsession.

ABOUT THE PL AY WRIGHT Mr. Dolginoff received Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Musical and Best Music Score, an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Best Off-Broadway Musical, and won an ASCAP Music Award for the New York production of THRILL ME. Now published by Dramatists Play Service, with a cast album on OC Records, THRILL ME has had nearly 50 productions in cities all over the world including Seoul, South Korea (now in its fourth year); Athens, Greece; Melbourne and Sydney, Australia; Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles (Ovation Award Nomination for Best Musical, Garland Award for Outstanding Music Score); Dallas, New Orleans, Orlando, Boston, Richmond and San Francisco It was also featured on the PBS national television broadcast of the Drama Desk Awards. Upcoming international productions will take place in Brazil, Tokyo and Vancouver. Mr. Dolginoff also wrote and composed MOST MEN ARE, ONE FOOT OUT THE DOOR (Backstage Bistro Award for Outstanding Book, Music and Lyrics) and JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH which has been produced in New York City and across the United States, and released as cast albums. Mr. Dolginoff contributed music to the lyrics of Kenward Elmslie for the Off-Broadway revue LINGOLAND. His first musical BEAUTY SLEEP, was produced by New York University where Mr. Dolginoff received a BFA in Dramatic Writing. His musical, PANIC, the story behind Orson Welles’ infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast, had its world premiere at the Lamb Theatre in Sioux City, Iowa and will soon be seen on the East Coast.
