At Fox Valley Repertory, the largest professional, award-winning theater in the Fox Valley area, our hope is that we can continue sharing stories that connect with you and our community. From outstanding productions to the area’s largest Performing Arts Academy, Fox Valley Rep continues to create memorable moments for you, provide significant opportunities for youth in our area to explore the power of theatre and use that power to improve their lives and prepare them to be successful, contributing members of our community. Having spent the last 20 years in Los Angeles where he acted in movies; Pleasantville as Gus the barber, Kiss The Girls, The Mangler Reborn as the Mangler and numerous low budget movies that will hopefully never see the light of day. TV appearances include West Wing, In Living Color, Malcolm In The Middle, iCarly, Chuck and Monk. Favorite theater roles include Vanya in Uncle Vanya (Los Angeles), How to Explain The History of Communism to Mental Patients (Edinburgh, Scotland), Little Murders (Stockholm, Sweden), Newman Noggs in Nicholas Nickelby (Playmakers Rep, Chapel Hill, NC) and deGuiche in Cyrano de Bergarac (NYC, Riverside Shakespeare). This is Weston’s 2nd time living in Chicago. In 1973 Weston move from Elkhorn, WI., but there wasn’t much theater in Chicago so he moved on to NYC and LA. Almost 40 years later he comes home to one of the great theater towns in the world. 4 Fox Valley Repertory

Special thanks to Dennis Zacek not only for directing M&M, but also for being a major part of making Chicago a great theater town. It’s good to be home. STEF TOVAR (SELZNICK)* is thrilled to be working at Fox Valley Rep for the first time on this gem of a show. A native of Bartlett, Stef began working professionally as an actor in Chicago in 1992, and won a Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play for his work in Blade to the Heat at Apple Tree Theatre, directed by Gary Griffin. Some of Stef’s favorite roles include Knute Rockne in Knute Rockne All-American at Theatre at the Center and Houdini (and others) in the Jeff Award-winning Ragtime at Drury Lane Oakbrook. After six years in Los Angeles with roles such as Jamie in The Last Five Years, George in Sunday in the Park with George and Che in Evita, Stef returned to Chicago and founded Route 66 Theatre Company, where he has been seen on stage in On an Average Day (also in L.A.), High Fidelity


P R O F I L E S O F T H E AC T I N G C O M PA N Y ( C O N T. ) and as Noah in the critically acclaimed A Twist of Water, which will play Off-Broadway in 2012. In addition to numerous commercials and the television show Boss, Stef can be seen breaking the bad news to Matt Damon as Dr. Arrington in the movie Contagion. He is the proud father of Sam and would like to thank Dennis Zacek, John Gawlik, Colleen (his sister-in-law!), Ronnie O. and all the folks involved with MM. Kiss to KWP. DELIA BASEMAN (POPPENGHUL) is very happy to be a part of this production and to be making her Fox Valley Rep debut. She was most recently seen in The Spirit Play with The Strange Tree Group at The Chicago DCA Theater. Other Chicago credits include, Dental Society Midwinter Meeting at Theater on the Lake, The Three Faces of Doctor Crippen, which was part of Steppenwolf’s Garage Rep 2011, and Shakespeare’s King Phycus with The Strange Tree Group/Lord Chamberlains Men. Delia has worked with many Chicago theaters including, Collaboraction, Remy Bumppo, and Lookingglass. She is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City and the Associate Artistic Director of The Strange Tree Group. DENNIS GRIMES (HECHT) is so pleased to be working with Fox Valley Repertory on Moonlight & Magnolias. Most recently, he played Robert Lyon in the extension of The Pitman Painters at Timeline Theatre. He has had the privilege to work at The Goodman, Next, Northlight, TimeLine, Strawdog, Walkabout, and Provision Theatres, as well as Uma Productions and Theatre Hikes. Regionally, he has

worked with the Oak Park Festival Theatre and the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Television credits include a guest starring role on Detroit 187 on ABC. He is represented by Gray Talent Group, and would like to thank them and his family for their support. AUDREY FLEGEL (FEMALE UNDERSTUDY) is a graduate of the School at Steppenwolf and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In the Chicago region, she has worked with many companies, including Lifeline Theatre, Chicago Kids Company, Bailiwick Repertory, and the Second City Training Center’s Improv and Music Improv House Ensembles. Audrey is originally from Elgin, Illinois where she recently played Juliet in Janus Theatre’s Romeo and Juliet. Up next, check her out in The Whole World is Watching with Dog and Pony Theatre this May! CLAYTON STAMPER (MALE UNDERSTUDY) has served as an artist in the Chicago area since his graduation from The Chicago College of Performing Arts. His contributions as an actor, assistant director, dramaturge, and producer have taken him to great stages. Some favorites include Chicago Shakespeare, Marriott Theatre, Silk Road Theatre project, Little Colonel Playhouse, Joe’s Pub, Roundabout and Provision. On film Mr. Stamper appeared in Michael Mann’s THE INSIDER, as well as the festival nominated shorts “The Wire” and “both/and”. Continued studies include Second City, and Chicago Shakespeare. Thanks to Fox Valley Rep for this great opportunity. Mr. Stamper is represented by Gray Talent.

ˇ (DIRECTOR) is Artistic DENNIS ZACEK Director Emeritus at Victory Gardens Theater and Full Professor Emeritus of Theatre at Loyola University. He has directed more than 250 productions in his career. In 2011, he received the first Ellen Stewart Award for Career Achievement in Professional Theatre from the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. In 2009, he was presented with the Spirit Award from Actors’ Equity to “Individuals who have made non-traditional casting a regular way of life.” In 2005, he received a Special Jeff Award for “Distinguished Achievement as a Director, Educator, Actor and Arts Advocate and for Continuing Support of Emerging Theatre Companies, Playwrights, Actors, and Directors.” In 2004, he accepted the Artistic Leadership Award from the League of Chicago Theatres. Victory Gardens Theatre received the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre in 2001. He and his wife, Marcelle McVay, were co-recipients of The Rosetta Le Noire Award from Actors’ Equity Association in 1999. He was also listed in Utne Magazine in 2003, in an international round-up of The 40 Most Exciting Soulful Artists entitled “Artists Who Will Shake the World.”

CHRISTOPHER KRIZ (SOUND DESIGNER) works nationally as a composer and sound designer. Recently for FVR, Chris designed Woman In Black, Around The World In 80 Days and Bad Dates. In Chicago, Chris has designed for companies including Northlight, Steppenwolf, Goodman, Victory Gardens and TimeLine. Regional credits include the national tour of America Amerique (Jena Company) and the upcoming The Fall Of The House (Theatre Squared). MORRIS (COSTUME DESIGNER) is pleased to be working again with Fox Valley Repertory. Based in Chicago, she freelance designs and builds costumes, wigs, makeup, props, puppets and special effects for numerous venues around the country such as Chicago Children’s Theatre, Babes with Blades, Shedd Aquarium, Stage Left Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, The Griffin Theater, American Shakespeare Center (VA), Theatre West Virginia (WV), Denison University (OH), Virginia Commonwealth University (VA), and Tecumseh! (OH). Upcoming projects include Taming of The Shrew with NWHS, Thoroughly Modern Millie with MEHS, Naked Mole Rat with Lifeline, and High School Musical with Fox Valley Repertory Youth Ensemble. SARAH BURNHAM (PROPERTIES MASTER) is excited to be working with Fox Valley Repertory for the first time! Recent projects include: properties design and production management for It’s a Wonderful Life, Waiting for Lefty, Rantoul and Die with American Blues Theater; properties design for Under the Blue Sky, Festen, Lakeboat with Steep Theater; properties design for Red Light Winter with Mary-Arrchie Theater; A Few Good Men, The Importance of Being Earnest at Peninsula Players Theater; The Chicago Landmark Project with Theater Seven. Coming up next: technical direction for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat with Magical Starlight Theater and properties design for Petrified Forest with Strawdog Theatre. Sarah is a proud ensemble member at American Blues Theater.

CLAIRE CHRZAN (ASSISTANT LIGHTING DESIGNER) is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago where she received her bachelor’s degree in lighting design. While at Columbia she had many opportunities to design various student and faculty directed productions including The Water Engine, Dirty Story, Not I, Five Short plays by Samuel Beckett, and Alice in Wonderland. Most recently she had the opportunity to design Celestial Bodies, a new play written by Lisa Schlesinger performed at Columbia College. During her time at Columbia, Claire also had numerous opportunities to work professionally around Chicago, designing productions such as Bri-ko at Stage 773, The Copperhead with City Lit, Resurfacing at Second Stage, and Yellowman with Greenetree Productions. NANCY STAIGER (STAGE MANAGER)* is pleased to be returning to Fox Valley Repertory. Previous productions include The Woman in Black, Around the World in 80 Days and Bad Dates. Before coming to FVR, Nancy was the Resident Stage Manager for Next Theatre. Productions at Next include Boom, End Days, Return to Haifa, War With The Newts, Madagascar, and The Metal Children. Before moving to the Chicago area, Nancy served as the Resident Production Stage Manager at Laguna Playhouse, a LORT theatre in Southern California. Of the nearly forty productions stage managed there, favorites include: The Romance of Magno Rubio, The Woman in Black, American Buffalo, Rounding Third, The Shape of Things, Shear Madness, Forever Plaid, Always Patsy Cline (with Sally Struthers) and the Playhouse produced national tours of Copenhagen, and The Belle of Amherst (with Julie Harris). Nancy moved to Chicago to be with family, enjoy the “great weather” and participate in exciting theatre. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Closed on major holidays. CHILDREN age 8 and older are welcome in the two live theaters at Pheasant Run Resort. However, some productions may not be suitable for all age groups. Call the box office for information about the content of a specific play. REFRESHMENTS may be purchased at the Lobby Bar, Harvest Lounge, Jambalaya and The Golf Bar. Drinks purchased at the resort may be brought into the Mainstage and Preservation Hall during any performance. Please turn off all ELECTRONIC DEVICES that may ring, beep, or otherwise produce a sound that would disrupt the performance. This includes cell phones, pagers, PDAs, and watches. SMOKING is strictly prohibited in our theaters. The use of CAMERAS or VIDEO/AUDIO RECORDING EQUIPMENT is strictly prohibited in our theaters. TICKET POLICY no refunds will be granted for theater tickets purchased via Ticketmaster or at the box office. LOST AND FOUND items may be turned in to the theater staff or the hotel’s front desk.
