Visual Arts HEAD SHOTS with Professional Photographer Adrian Spinks

Sign up for 15 minute sessions with Professional Photographer Adrian Spinks. Let Adrian create beautiful headshots for you that get results. Time/Days: April 17 or 23 | 11-4pm | Pre-registration a must. Cost: $40 per session- a link with images will be provided a week after session. Private Photo Lessons with Adrian Spinks

PHOTOART Privates sessions – Take it off AUTO and use your digital SLR Learn to use the AE lock, what and how to use the Aperture Priority on your camera, Focus, Lighting, Exposure and use of ISO, Composition, Portraiture, etc, through indoor and outdoor experiences. Canvas Stretching Workshop

This is a practical workshop all about supporting, attaching and presenting pieces of artwork (including tapestry) and photography that have been produced on unstretched canvas. We look at the equipment, resources and skills involved in stretching and attaching the canvas art (or fabric) and finishing ready for hanging. This includes talking about putting a frame around a stretched piece. Each participant will be given materials to make their own small canvas. Creative Craft Camp

Target age: 4-6 years old Discovery is the focus of this camp designed for the very young artist. Artists will have fun playing with craft materials to discover shapes, patterns and colors. Drawing and Painting

Target ages: 13 and up Drawing and painting are the foundations of creating art. Students will learn formal techniques as well as creative possibilities. We will focus on composition, working from observation, and using the imagination for personal expression. We will cover techniques in a wide variety of painting and drawing media: tempera, watercolors, pastels, pencil, collage, charcoal and acrylics. Instructor: NSAA STAFF Summer Time/Days: June 25 - 29 | 1:00 - 3:00 pm Early Registration Fee: $110 | Fee: $120 | Program: S102

Summer Art Camp

Target age: 6-13 This unique summer camp provides a variety of sessions ranging from basic drawing, to clay, painting and more. The sessions are one week long and are available in either morning or afternoon. Each session will focus on new projects, so students can sign up for more than one session! Bring a light snack. Instructor: Marco Mendoza Summer Time/Days: July 9 -13 | 9:00-11:00am Early Registration Fee: $110 | Fee: $120 | Program: S103

3D Art Exploration

Target age: 6-13 Young artists will engage their minds and hands as they create a multitude of 3-dimensional art pieces in this fun summer camp. Texture will be the main focus as clay, paper mache and up cycled materials become the building blocks for creative and colorful projects. All materials provided. Please send students to class with an art smock or apron. Please note that projects repeat/are very similar from session to session. ECO Print Workshop

Eco Printing is contact printing plants onto fabric. This workshop is for anyone that is interested in learning this interesting and creative textile technique using leaves from your garden and/or local florist. You will learn the tools, safety, equipment and bundling techniques that will get you started in this exciting media. For this class we will be using protein fibers (Silk scarves). Each student will create two 14X70 silk scarves using two different processing techniques. I will email registrants a list of common supplies to bring to the workshop. Private Art Lessons

Target age: all ages depending on instructor’s advice NSAA has an excellent team of instructors qualified to teach private lessons. One on one instruction is offered in the following areas: piano, violin, guitar, voice, performance, acting, auditioning, percussion, art, composition, private music exploration, music theory, yoga & dance. Performing Arts NSAA Stagekids Present ELF THE MUSICAL JR. at the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center (CPAC)!*

Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fishout-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. At least 25 roles available! Age Group: Kids through 9th Grade (as of September 2018). We do prefer that children gain some theater experience through our Jr. Stagekids program. Auditions: August 7 at 5:30 pm (Must register in advance to get an audition/parent packet. EVERYONE who registers will be in the show. Auditions are only to see what the best character fit for you would be.) Audition Material: Will be given out shortly after you register. (The earlier you register, the more time you will have to prepare.) Rehearsal Location: NSAA, 1111 Broad Street, Grafton Rehearsals: Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:30 at NSAA with rehearsals picking up closer to the show date. (Schedule provided once you register). We want dedicated actors who are able to be there for most rehearsals. Please plan ahead! Cost: Roughly $5 per hour per child (please compare this cost per hour to other programs) Between auditions, rehearsals, tech week and shows, your child will be putting in about 75 hours of staff supervised time throughout the entire process. Tuition: $375 (may be broken up into two payments with $187 due now and $188 due prior to auditioning on August 7th). Keep in mind that this is a five month program put on by the longest standing children’s theater company in Ozaukee County. Did you just SEE the show and now wish you could be IN the show? This is for you! Recommended Age Level: Ages 6 to 12 Auditions: During the first class. Learn one minute of any Lion King song. Optional: Memorize and act out any Lion King character lines. Rehearsals: June 18 - June 22 from 9am to 3pm with a final performance on the last day. Bring a lunch every day. Yoga Balancing Arts Yoga and Well Being Studio Dedicated to holistic well being, Balancing Arts Studio is a unified, cooperative of independent instructors and practitioners bringing their unique offerings to the mat to provide education and a variety of services in the movement and healing arts. Instructors are skilled in customizing movement to suit the unique needs and abilities of each student. In addition to a variety of group and individual yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, somatics and other movement classes, Balancing Arts offers services such as Reiki, Acupuncture, outdoor nature classes, and other well being therapies.
