The Laramie Project 64th Season

Waukesha Civic Theatre welcomes you to our 64th season of being Waukesha’s prime location for entertainment and theatre education. You might wonder how it’s possible for a small non-profit theatre to continue to thrive for this many seasons, and I will tell you that our secret is people like you, who provide support in multiple ways each year. Through financial contributions, robust volunteerism, community passion, and enthusiastic production attendance, we continue to grow into our 64th Season and into the future of WCT. We have chosen a line-up of entertainment that we know will keep you on the edge of your seats: from spunky, girl-power magic in Matilda, to Honky-Tonk toe-tapping and piano serenades, to the deeply felt heartbreak in the Laramie Project, you will be moved we have no doubt. We invite you to do more than watch a show here at Waukesha Civic Theatre, and we encourage you to get involved and to become a part of our community. There are several ways for you to join our community, as a patron, Season Subscriber, FLEX Subscriber, donor, volunteer, artist, or as an ambassador of the theatre. We invite you to attend our seven Mainstage Productions, five Music on Main cabarets, two Mainstage Waukesha Civic Theatre Academy Performances, several Theatre Education opportunities, and the WCT Film Series movie events. We hope you catch the Civic Broadway Singers or the Civic Senior Players around town where they delight as part of our outreach endeavors. We invite you to attend our Annual Gala to celebrate our accomplishments, to our Season Preview to get a sneak peek of the 65th Season, various FUNdraisers, Waukesha State Bank Art Gallery exhibits, Waukesha Reads Keynote, the second annual WCT FUNd Walk, and collaborative community events. One of the best ways to support WCT is to spread the word about Waukesha Civic Theatre. Find us on social media, like and share, and help connect with our community. Buy your tickets ahead of time, and give tickets as a gift! The gift of the theatre experience is the best you can give! Private Donors and Corporate Sponsors help keep us financially sound and looking to the future through gifts to the Annual Operating Fund, the Endowment Fund, by including us in planned estate giving, and through annual corporate sponsorships. Please contact us to make arrangements to support the theatre. These are exciting times, and we can’t wait to see you this season!

The ACAP PlayMakers provide daytime performances based on school curricula, specific themes, and stages of education. While these often original works are designed primarily for schools, they are ideal for public, private, and home school groups; Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops; senior centers; even your family!
