The Assassinations in Salonika 1903 by D-r Krste Bitoski
One of the best book out here dedicated to one of the biggest sacrifices done in the name of Macedonia. Group of young patriots, known as Solunskite Gemidzii (Солунските Гемиџии), decided to sacrifice their own lives (without harming any other human being), to destroy as much as possible public objects of foreign countries (like banks, post offices, cruising ships...) in Ottoman Empire in Salonika (known as Солун or Thessaloniki) back in 1903. These young people, are often called terrorists - but they weren't. They didn't killed anyone nor were trying to. All they fought was freedom for MACEDONIAN people and MACEDONIA.
Great release of Institute of National History of Macedonia!
Worth reading.
