Teambuilding – “Petys į petį“

“NOBODY IS PERFECT BUT A TEAM CAN BE!”

“Petys į petį“ is an old term in Lithuania meaning to have shoulder to shoulder - to support each other. In other words it is called ”Team building”. “Petys į petį“ is suitable for groups who want to work better together and learn more about each other. The activities in “Petys į petį“ contains elements of team spirit, competition, creativity, play and physical closeness. We have a few standard packages, but any individual needs and wishes are welcome. A Concluding Activity can be added to all Teambuilding packages.

The goal of our events is to develop team spirit, encourage mutual understanding and to have fun. Can be combined with “Extra Options” below. All activities can be exchanged according to clients’ needs and wishes.

Please note

Each event includes Icebreakers/warm up, the chosen activities and the final with the concluding activity. In the end we announce winners, make Team Photo and conclude with the high emotional Force One ACIU (thank you) session. Prices includes, in that way, a full event from beginning to finish.

All activities can be combined in many variations. Here is a few event packages, but please contact us with your individual needs, wishes and expectations and we will provide a tailor-made offer. A detailed scenario/activity rotation plan is developed before the event when we know the group size.

Ice Hockey

Have fun, make your strategy and beat the other teams. No special skills are required as you are playing with your own footwear and not skates.

Siege the Castle - Catapult Shooting

Perhaps the greatest introduction to siege warfare in medieval times was the Catapult. Consensus, team decisions, listening to each other All participants are blindfolded. A long rope is giving to the group and they must make a triangle. The triangle/square must have 100 % equal sides.

Ice Sculpture Carving

Our Ice carving activity is perfect as a conference add-on, a part of event or as a standalone team building event. Our Master Ice Carver will give your delegates a professional introduction and then divide your group into teams for this exhilarating activity. Each team will be provided with all needed equipped. The lead sculptor will demonstrate carving techniques to reveal ‘how it should be done’. The participants will make their own Ice Sculpture based on a chosen theme or free theme.

3D Winter Hunting

Realistic three-dimensional "animals" of natural size made of spongy gum are intended for archery. Participants in groups are moving from target to target on a prepared route where they must shoot the animals with Crossbows or Bows. Practise before tournament starts are offered.

Obstacle Course & Tug of War

Consensus, team decisions, listening to each other Compete against the teams in a fun alternative obstacle course and the traditional Tug of War. In the Obstacle the team runs together and overcome obstacles such as tire run, slalom sticks, potato bag jump, „skiing“ in team etc...

In order to engage everyone each team saws the logs in pairs of free selection, women/men and women/women (or according to agreement)

The Call of the Wild

Untouched forest landscapes with evocative spruce trees and close contact with nature, and a pleasant time around the campfire, all combined with exercises that focus on making use of what the wilderness has to offer. Stillness, fresh mountain air and authentic adventures. Can be combined with Indian Sweat-lodge experience which you will find in “Extra Options” below. Activities can be exchanged.

3D Winter Hunting

Participants in groups are moving from target to target, made of realistic three-dimensional "animals" of natural size, on a prepared route where they must shoot the animals with Crossbows.

An authentic wilderness exercise. Axe throwing requires a combination of precision and concentration. Technique is more important than muscle.

Winter Games

A short break in a busy working day. The competitive instinct lies dormant in us all. Here you are given the opportunity of taking part in our own version of the Winter Games. Sports-related activities, team effort and commitment are united in these informal games. Winter Games can be “spiced up” with Snowmobiling or ATV driving experiences which guarantee a real adrenalin rush and experience tremendous excitement.

Snow Golf

Putting where the target is a snow tunnel. Two balls per participant and points according to the number of hits. A popular sport if ever there was one!

Medieval weapon tournament

Participants will get bows, axes, targets and arrows. The task is to get as many points as possible. Encourage the team to concentrate and achieve most points per team or individual results.

Horse Shoe Throwing

Brush up your aiming skills and compete in this Traditional game where Horseshoes are thrown at stakes.

Winter Olympics

A Fun active event with focus on the winter and modified Olympic games. Participants are divided in teams and compete in between the different challenges. The event ceremony begins with the Olympic Fire is lit.

Biathlon (skiing & rifle shooting)

Demonstrate your shooting and skiing skills: concentration, accuracy, and timing.

Experience the adrenaline of hitting the targets. The team skis on a set on wooden “skis” (boards with ropes to hold) and arrives to the shooting range where they will shoot for most points with air rifles.

Ice Hockey

Have fun, make your strategy and beat the other teams. No special skills are required as you are playing with your own footwear and not skates.

Forest Challenge

The mission is to complete a set of active and mental challenges and exercises set in the forest, reach the end destination and complete the final task. After mission briefing they are send of in the forest. The group is working as one team with one mission, but some tasks are solved in smaller teams. The Forest Challenge is either made as a team mission or a competition in teams. The final is construction of the team united symbol - the Team Tower, but with some “obstacles”. The winning team is the team who gather the most points. Time penalty points are deducted for any teams who are late!

Crane Work Construction

How is the basic principle of a crane working? It is needed to find out in order to move further and move items or people from one point to another point.

Decision making

Where we now and where are we heading? Who should go which that way and who the other way. It is needed to identify resources and divide responsibilities.

Rope Crossing

Crossing rivers, streams or ravines or slope with a rope. Keeping the balance and supporting your colleagues are essential skills in order to complete this task.

Multi Challenge

Does your team want to build its leadership capacities? Do you want a team to apply themselves to a unique project and see how they work together in a dynamic and changing environment? It‘s a team challenge against time, pitting the dramatic forces of Mother Nature against the skill and experience of well working teams where psychical and mental challenges are waiting in the nature. Our Multi Team Challenge combines the best elements of the outdoors into one great TEAM adventure. At the completion of the challenge the teams feel a deep sense of achievement, self-confidence, trust and satisfaction in what they have accomplished. Some of the challenges are shown below.

High Ropes

Participants climb on the ladder to 8-15 m height in the trees. In such height they have to overcome different obstacles with support from colleagues.

Low ropes

The team must go through a track on ropes and on poles close to the ground. Some places they must tighten the ropes themselves, some places the ropes are ready. Each time they touch the ground they receive minus point. Good team exercises and good challenge.

Trekking & Navigation

All races include orienteering, as participants are in the wilderness and must find their own way to each event site. At first glance you might not think there is much technique to trekking but there is. Trekking is the most common section where a team will drop out of a race. Don't take it for granted and think that just because you have been hiking before that you can handle this part. The key in adventure racing is to keep moving. No matter how slow you are it is still faster than stopping.

4x4 Off Road

This discipline requires driver license! – not a race on time but rather finding the route and overcome the obstacles the team will encounter on their way.

Survival training

Basics of survival and how to work with the nature have always been an interesting aspect of people. Here we provide firsthand experience with survival skills and the participants can take advantage of our highly skilled experts and learn how to navigate with and without compass, forage for edible plants, make snares, traps, fire and building an emergency shelter, crossing ravine, build a bridge and even how to abseil down from different heights.

Indian Sweat Lodge (Sauna)

A sweat lodge originally was a sacred place built by a Native American medicine man for healing purposes. Original sweat lodges were wrapped in significant ceremony and only practiced by tribal medicine men. Sweat lodges are universal among all North American Indians. In fact, the concept of the sauna is universal.

The Sweat Lodge is one of the elements in our full Indian Event Theme where several hundreds of participants can be activated without waiting at the different activities.

WILD GAME ROAST

As a new service we provide the most delicious wild game. Depending on season and availability we have Wild boar, Deer and Roe. Roast is spitted and grilled on the large grill, so all smells and flavours will circulate the venue. The roast meal can be used for all kind of events for lunch, dinners and is served with traditional sauces and garnish. We serve min. 15 people group.

Team Orienteering Treasure Hunt

The Treasure Hunt is a 3 hours to full day event held in and around the chosen venue. The group will be divided into teams of between six and 20 people, depending on total group size. Tasks are developed according to possibilities in the venue and the surroundings. The Treasure Hunt ends with discovering the Treasure by making a password which reveals the location of the treasure.

Format of the Treasure Hunt

Each team will be issued a team pack. This will consist of a map, a list of Challenges, Bonus Items, Questions and Destinations, a Photo list. Each group should provide a digital camera.

Throughout the event the teams will need to answer, find or complete as many of the following categories as possible:

Destinations

The teams will have to find their way round as many destinations as they can from the clues given, most are cryptic, some will rely on observation, others you will just stumble across!

Questions

Each team will have a series of questions to answer. Most of the questions will be about the destinations and other logical questions; however others will require deeper digging!

Challenges

At some destinations the team will meet tasks to complete and to provide their best team result. Challenges can include Constructing a Log Chair, Shoot & Construct with a Catapult, Detonate a Bomb, Discover Water territories and more depending on the area.

Items

Throughout the Treasure Hunt the teams will have to collect as many of the special items as they can.

Photos

Using the camera supplied the team must capture on film actions or deeds as well some seemingly impossible missions.

Curling Tournament

With the balance of a gymnast, the grace and elegance of a ballet dancer, the power of a sprinter, the timing of ‘mission control’, the effort of sweeping, the tactics of a chess-master all in 30 seconds: this game has it all. Repeat for 8 stones and then do it again 9 more times on a slippery surface which changes continually and you have the ultimate technical game of skill and tactics..."

We organize curling tournaments with all instructions, rules, practice and of course the tournament for finding the Curling Champions!

Adventures

Snowmobile Safari ride is great fun, exciting with lots of fresh air. You will have instructions and after will be the Safari tour. An instructor will lead you during the tour and hot drinks and meals are provided on request.

Tours are organized all over Lithuania and we have permanent routes 50 km from Vilnius which takes you through snowy beautiful national parks, crossing frozen lakes and rivers, climb hilly terrain, through open picturesque landscapes and forest areas.

Participants cannot be intoxicated. Standard durations are 2-3.5 h, but other options are available for individual needs. For large groups we offer to combine with other of our winter activities such as Teambuilding, Winter Games, Winter Olympics, Winter Hunting etc...

Drill the hole and you are ready for real Lithuanian Ice Fishing adventure. Add some vodka and you will enjoy it even more. High Ropes is great fun as either a stand-alone activity or as part of a multi-activity day.

In the High Ropes you will feel the difference and have great learning and fun in 8-15 meters height. Provided with alpinism harnesses and attached to safety wires you start from the ground and climbing the “Skywalk” with support from the team, you will reach the first “platform”. Here you will face different challenges that you must overcome with support from the team on the ground.

Force One High Ropes is only possible to complete with team support!

The High Ropes can also be used as an effective provocative solution for creating dialog around, dealing with changes, understanding resistance, risk taking and commitment. High Ropes works well with looking at how organizations communicate react and brings the organizational culture into full view. Participants begin to understand, in a different way, the strengths and limitations of how they perform together. Issues of group norms, leadership, follower ship, conflict management, decision-making, risk taking and planning can be addressed through these activity based work simulation.

In order to avoid any disappointment, please find hereunder some essential rules concerning driving and language.

1. Customers must be regular driving licence holders and used to drive their own car daily. That means that they probably have a minimum knowledge to be able to drive a standard car as well as a rally car.

2. Customers must speak good English, Lithuania or Russian in order to attend theory briefing given by instructors. If it is not the case, please be sure to have a translator (we can organise on request).

3. Participants must be adequately insured with personal accident insurance and a third part liability insurance.

4. Participants will sign a disclaimer stating that no claims in case of injuries and/or death can be held to organisers and/or instructors and/or anyone else.

5. Participants cannot be intoxicated or influenced by alcohol and/or drugs.

Please be aware that for safety reasons, these 5 rules are fundamental.

We must be strict concerning safety. If these driving and language rules are not fully respected, and if for this reason it is obvious that the customer is unable to drive a rally car the day of the driving course, there will be no possibility of reimbursement.

Cultural Experiences Medieval Warfare

This event provides firsthand experience with the medieval times warfare. Lithuania was first mentioned in 1009, formed a state ca. 1183, and developed into a powerful empire in the 14th century. It survived and gained power in the constant fight with the Teutonic Knights, supported by almost the whole of Catholic Europe, the Tartar hordes and Muscovite Russia.

This event takes place in the picturesque landscape near the majestic Gothic castle on the island of Galve Lake, the town's flower, which is the only castle surrounded by water in Eastern and Central Europe. Trakai was the administrative, economic and defensive centre of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania at the beginning of the 14th century.

Siege The castle

You will have a chance to build and shoot with a Catapult - perhaps the greatest introduction to siege warfare in medieval times. A well-built Catapult could handle large missiles making it much more difficult for castle walls to withstand this new weapon of medieval times. Each team is to make a catapult of wood poles, the construction must be very carefully planned and the quality asset before the team will test it with shooting with a head of cabbage.

Medieval weapon tournament

Participants will get bows, axes, targets and arrows. The task is to get as many points as possible. Encourage the team to concentrate and achieve most points per team or individual results.

Castle Sightseeing

Inside the castle, there is the Trakai Historic Museum where visitors can see some interesting old armament collections as well as other historic exhibits.

Many 16th-17th century tiles, coins, pottery, bone chessmen and other items were discovered while excavating the Castle site. These are now exhibited in the Trakai History Museum. The museum also contains ethnographic and applied art collections.

Soviet Bunker Live Survival Event

We have the Back to USSR drama which is a very special experience, but for those seeking an even more intense experience and with some more action we have developed a successful event where you will become closer to real life.

This event is for those who want as close to real experiences as you can get without being forced to something you don't want to do. We are though pushing limits a bit further than standard tours.

This event takes place in a former Soviet Bunker. Basically it begins with a real road ambush by the red army, then everyone are prisoners and gets blind folded, gets “handcuffs” on and in a row leaded to interrogation chambers (mission of interrogators is decided with client; it can be to find the boss or to get some specific information from the participants. Interrogation finishes with a Court where a “Stalin” actor reads the sentence to all the prisoners. But then suddenly there is a chance to break out and the battle begins (strike ball or paintball) it all ends up with nice BBQ with game roast at the Bunker.

.... description from the real event: ...suddenly there is smoke everywhere and the shouting is horrible, it sounds like our bus is driving through a minefield... but we have no time to think more before we are being pulled out and have to face the ground....we can't see anything...where do they take us....Commands are given in Russian, we just have to follow them otherwise the guards are fast around us correcting us...

....later the interrogators and the guards leave no space for communication among our group, we are trapped, they have reached our secrets and we face the Court decision....

...but what is this... our only chance of escape...let's use it... the amazing battle awaits us shooting with Kalashnikov machine guns...

1984 in the Bunker - Back to the USSR

A 3000 m2 bunker in the outskirts of Vilnius 5 meters below ground.

The Bunker - a survival show where USSR revives… ‘1984’ – the twentieth century anti-utopia, a book written by George Orwell while Stalin was still in power.

He envisioned what life would be like in a future totalitarian society in the far-off year of 1984, the times of the Big Brother watching you at all times.

But what if we, living in the twenty-first century, did not look to the future as did G. Orwell, but instead to the past, to the real 1984 in the Soviet Union?

Upon your arrival to the bunker you will be met by Soviet guards with dogs. For two hours you will part with whoever you are in this century: all your stuff, your money, cameras and cell phones. Dressed in grey Soviet threadbare clothing you will delve into the life of a simple Soviet citizen full of fear and uncertainty. You will be led through a reinforced concrete slabs maze five meters down under, you’ll see Soviet television broadcasts and visit shops from 1984, you’ll be interrogated in a KGB office, taught the USSR anthem, you’ll get used to carrying around a gas mask and putting together a Kalashnikov automatic rifle. You’ll have to dance to the music of the times and sink in to the soviet spirit, let it sink in you. Will you be able to? Will you endure?

Vilnius Cultural Challenge

Format of the Cultural Challenge

Vilnius Cultural Challenge is a 2-4 hours (depending on group size) scavenger hunt held in Vilnius or any other location. The group is divided into teams and issued a team pack which consists of a list of Photo Challenges, Scavenger Challenges, Local Knowledge Challenges, Compulsory Challenge Points and Cryptic clues. Each group should provide a digital camera. Tasks are based on in a non-traditional way discovering Vilnius sites, history and cultural experiences. The Cultural Challenge ends with discovering the Treasure by making a password which reveals the location of the treasure.

Photo Challenges

Using their own camera the team must capture on film actions or deeds as well some seemingly impossible missions. Photos could include the team with a policeman, a human pyramid, in a barber’s chair, pouring a pint behind a bar or others seemingly impossible missions…

Scavenger Challenges

Each team is given a list of items they must collect along the way. These may include an item of local historical significance, an item related to your company, a Lithuanian flag, Baltic Gold...

Local Knowledge Challenges

Each team must answer a range of questions relating to the local area. These include questions where answers are obtained by asking locals, on local sports teams, relating to local statues, buildings, landmarks etc. Most of the questions will be about the destinations and other logical questions; however others will require deeper digging!

Destinations

The teams will have to find their way round as many destinations as they can from the clues given, most are cryptic, some will rely on observation, others you will just stumble across!

Compulsory Challenges

At some destinations the team will meet tasks to complete and to provide their best team result. Challenges can include Dancing National Dances, Tasting National drinks, Making National handicrafts and competing in National Games (horse shoe, ring throwing etc...)

The Official Interactive City Treasure hunt developed by Force One, is incentive event, where teams in a non-traditional way discovers the Cities Treasures; the sites, history, locals and culture. NEWS! This event can be booked in Vilnius, Druskininkai, Trakai, Kedainiai & Kaunas (more on the way). Your group is divided in teams and issued a team pack which consists of a list of Photo Challenges, Scavenger Challenges and Local Knowledge Challenges. Each team should provide a digital camera. The goal is to complete as many challenges as possible in given time and in the most creative way. You win by solving the Challenges which leads you to the treasures of Vilnius. The Winning Team receives the Reward.

Using their own camera the team must capture on film actions or deeds as well some seemingly impossible missions. Photos could include the team with a policeman, a human pyramid, in a barber’s chair, pouring a pint behind a bar or others seemingly impossible missions…

Scavenger Challenges

Each team is given a list of items they must collect along the way. These may include an item of local historical significance, an item related to your company, a Lithuanian flag, Baltic Gold...

Local Knowledge Challenges

Each team must answer a range of questions relating to the local area. These include questions where answers are obtained by asking locals, on local sports teams, relating to local statues, buildings, landmarks etc. Most of the questions will be about the destinations and other logical questions; however others will require deeper digging!

Back at the Head Quarters, the end point (bar, conference room, restaurant etc...) we receive answers and calculate points. Announcing of winners and showing photos can be done min. after 1 hour from teams have arrived. Meanwhile the teams can have a meal, or just talk about the day with a drink. A real highlight of the day as we go through a selection of the group’s photos, and as you can imagine, as each photo appears the other groups all either complain bitterly that they haven’t completed the challenge properly or applaud a challenge completed well!

Note: at the end of the activity everyone meets in agreed place which can be a restaurant, hotel or other place fitting the schedule. If there is time we will show some photos. It takes app 1 hour from teams arrives to calculate points and collect photos. In meantime participants can have drinks/snacks/meal (not included). Extra fee from venue might apply for multi-media projector/screen rent, but it depends on venue and program afterwards. If e.g. we end up in the hotel and there is already ordered conference room then most probably no fee will apply.

Includes All agreed elements, organizational and administrational work etc. The Treasure included for the best team is a box of small Lithuanian drinks. This Treasure can of course be another one upon agreement. Also it is possible to have Treasures for other teams.

Notes Some few expenses are to be expected for the participants in order to solve the treasure hunt (e.g. to buy some things…)

Ice Sculpture Carving Events

Our Ice carving activity is perfect as a conference add-on or as a standalone team building event. Our Master Ice Carver will give your delegates a professional demonstration and then divide your group into teams for this exhilarating activity.

Each team will be provided with all needed equipped Program outlines

Introduction to the ice sculpture team. The opportunity to explain the timeline & procedures that will take place over the course of the event.

Professional demonstration by Ice sculptor. The lead sculptor will demonstrate carving techniques to reveal ‘how it should be done’.

Team building / carving to create the chosen sculpture (could be a horse head…) The participants will have the opportunity to ‘try their hands’ at carving to create a masterpiece!

Judging and Winners determined (optional prizes).

By nature of the material used, it will not be possible for you to take your masterpieces home!

Extra option:

It is possible to order a ready Ice Sculpture for decoration, inspiration purposes or as an advertising element or a corporate logo.

General Terms & Conditions

Locations of event/activities & schedule

Many of our activities & events have a permanent location, but are often also organised at clients preferred venue. In this case separate conditions apply. It’s essential that timings are kept otherwise we can’t guarantee that the services can be provided according to the program.

Our liability

We have event organiser’s liability insurance (not covering motorized activities). Our insurance is not a personal accident insurance, but covers our liability. For all activities participants must be adequately insured. It is the responsibility of the participants not to be intoxicated for any activities where being intoxicated can lead to any accidents of themselves or others.

Booking & payment conditions

Client

A booking is confirmed once a non-refundable booking deposit of 30 % has been received not later than 5 working days from booking or according to separate agreement. If payment isn’t done we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled. Outstanding balance is due to be paid at least 45 days before event date or according to separate agreement. If booking is made within 45 days prior to event then 100 % is paid or according to separate agreement as confirmation of the booking.

Cancellation of your booking can be made at any time. The cancellation will be accepted when we receive a written confirmation (by email). If booking is cancelled more than 45 days before the event date then 30 % cancellation fee applies. If booking is cancelled within 45 days before the event day then 100 % cancellation fee applies and no refunds can be made or according to separate agreement.

Force One

If we, Force One, for some reasons (weather, suppliers etc) need to make changes to the booking and/or prices and/or programs, we will inform immediately. If we need to cancel, then we will try to find suitable alternatives of an equal standard. Should you not wish to accept these alternatives then we will give a full refund of all paid amount once we have received funds from the relevant supplier(s).

Venue & Accommodation

For all events and activities taking place with start/finish and/or in a venue it is obligatory to combine with restaurant or hotel services. We as usually organise this or client can do it.

We organise all kinds of accommodation: 5* resort hotels, cosy countryside wooden cabins, city hotels, B&B all depending of the needs.

Motorized activities

1. If damage is made from not following instructions or on purpose, then damage is covered by the client ordering the service.

2. As a general rule, if a driver is not listening and following instructions they are not allowed to drive. 3. Driver must have valid driver license.

Disclaimer

For some activities it is obligatory to sign a disclaimer stating the wish to participate, following instructions and that participant acknowledge the risk and no claims to provider and/or organiser will be made (please ask to see the whole disclaimer form). Please provide before the event with full participants list with name, surname, personal code or passport number.

Weather

Some activities and events are weather dependent and may change or vary according to current conditions.

Transport of equipment & crew

A transport fee of 0.6 € per km excl. VAT (both ways) applies for mobile events/activities. If research is needed for us to evaluate if an area is suitable, then a research fee of 350 € excl.VAT plus transport fee applies.

Notes

All prices and packages are subject to confirmation Prices are negotiable for larger groups and when booking several activities. All prices are listed in Euros and are excluding 21 % VAT. It is appreciated if food & beverages is provided for the crew. Accommodation might also be needed for crew, depending on the activity, duration and the location.
