chroma+scan 2125 and Gocator®

2380/2880 scanners are arranged in a ring that logs pass through to determine their exact 3D shape and 2D surface characteristics, such as the presence of bark, splits, outer knots, and debarker tear-out. chroma+scan 2440 scanners are used to determine optimal cut lines. They are also used to determine optimal log rotation angle and cut depths before passing through primary bandsaws.
