Respect and recognition goes both ways. It's an ongoing dialogue and collective journey of acknowledgment, empathy and mutual understanding, one that the Studio lives, breathes and works on each day.
The many different facets of this journey are reflected in the diverse collection of bold paintings and stories shared by participating artists.
This year also marks an exciting milestone for Spinifex Hill Studio as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, including the monumental work, achievements and experience of the last decade. Since 2014, Spinifex Hill Studio has established itself as a leading art centre in the Pilbara and a significant part of the South Hedland community through our work supporting the creative practice of hundreds of Aboriginal artists from across the region and beyond.
