APRIL is Month of the Military Child Please join MWR in celebrating and honoring the military child to thank them for all their many sacrifices as family members. All activities and events scheduled throughout the month are free! Here are a few of the key events happening: Purple Up! Show your support by wearing purple on Monday, April 15. Purple symbolizes all branches of the military. KidFest is a fun-filled day of games prizes, and crafts at the Markham School Age Center on April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. TeenFest is a special event planned by Teens at the Youth Center on April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. See calendar of events here at BelvoirMWR.com April is also Child Abuse Prevention Month Family Advocacy Program is hosting a variety of classes throughout the month of April such as Child Safety, Play Mornings, Baby Bundles and Parenting classes. Run/Walk – April 20 Registration is open until April 14. Come out and run with other race enthusiasts or just test your own time. Bring your team of family, friends and neighbors to cheer you on!
