A spectacular Diwali Dusshera Festival will be held the Constellation Field on Oct. 15, between the hours of 4-10 p.m. The 5th annual event at the stadium will have free balloons, merry-go round, free face painting, a petting Zoo , a Fire truck and free pony rides. Shri Sita Ram Foundation, a non profit group, is organizing the festival, presenting the Indian culture and heritage extravaganza while taking the spectators on a journey of Indian mythological and cultural experience, highlighting the Triumph of Good over Evil ; brought to real life on stage with hundreds of artists dressed in colorful ethinic costumes acting, dancing, chanting and much more. The festival has attaracted a capacity crowd during each of the prior years. It appeared to be similar to the Renaissance Festival or the Shakspearean

festival plus much more. The festival organizers touted attractions of nearly 60 colorful merchandise and ethnic food booths; a parade of over 50 floats, similar to the ones seen during the Macy’s Parade, where some people dress in period or mythological costumes , while others play music, and dance .
