San Juan Island bike trip Go on a twoday bike ride around the San Juan Islands June 18–19. The SJI’s are an incredible place where the ocean permeates almost every scene and sailboats float across the deep blue water. Biking the country roads is an experience you won’t want to miss. On the second day, catch a ferry to Orcas Island where your guides will drive you up to the tallest point in the Islands, Mount Constitution, which stands at 2,400 feet. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views — from snowcovered Mount Baker to the Cascade Range and the Olympic Peninsula — and bike (mostly downhill) back to the ferry dock. The trip includes transportation, bikes and helmets, camping equipment, ferry ticket, dinner and breakfast. There is a pretrip meeting Wednesday, June 15 at the Northwest Adventure Center at Lewis North. The trip departs from the NAC at a time to be determined based on ferry schedule.
