Omni Financial Services
Located just off Fort Riley on Grant Avenue, Omni Financial Services has been a proud supporter of Fort Riley Family and MWR for many years. Through its support of Family and MWR programs and events, Omni helps improve quality of life for Fort Riley Soldiers, families and retirees. “Omni Military Loans was actually founded by a noncommissioned officer after World War II,” said Larry Scott, general manager of the Omni branch in Junction City. “In 1950, a former staff sergeant founded the company that would later become Omni Financial. The tradition is upheld to this day, to support Soldiers, families and retirees. “After retiring from 28 years in the military, I found that Omni was another way that I could continue to help and support Soldiers, their family members and retirees,” Scott continued. Omni Financial supports Family and MWR events and facilities across the installation. Omni advertising helps support Custer Hill Bowling Center and the Warrior Zone, and their sponsorship of events such as Fall Apple Day Festival helps make the programs possible. You’ll see Omni at upcoming events including Christkindl Market in December. Stop by and thank them for their support! *Sponsorship and advertising do not imply endorsement.

Looking for a way to use CYSS deployment hours? Check out alternative care options!
Life doesn’t stop after 5 p.m., so Child, Youth and School Services offers after-hours child care options twice a month to help meet the needs of busy military families. FRG Child Care takes place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. As the name implies, the time frame is perfect for FRG meetings – but the two hours can be used for any reason. Parents’ Night Out is another popular option, providing care from 6-11 p.m. the first Saturday of each month. Parents may use any or all of the five available hours for one low rate. Deployment hours may be used for either program. For more information on either program, see details at left, call CYSS Parent Central Services at (785) 239-9885 or visit riley.armymwr.com.
Child must have traveling file to use either.
