About MOMC:
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Month of the Military Child, also known as MOMC. Month of the Military Child was established by the Department of Defense in 1986 as a way to recognize and create awareness for the service, sacrifices and challenges of military youth and children. Throughout the month of April, Army communities around the world provide activities to celebrate and honor military children. It is a time to highlight the services, programs and organizations available to support military children and help meet parental challenges to maintain mission readiness.
