Property Management
Be a property optimist
The past eighteen months have been a busy time in the property market with demand higher than it’s ever been in working memory for many in the property business. Whilst there has been a supply issue in both the sales and rental markets, we are hopeful that this should resolve itself when everyone starts going about their business as before. In property there is rarely ‘normal’. It is either flying high or flying low – or heading in either direction. But whatever the market our job, as your agent, is to get the best result for you when it is right for you and your family. With this in mind, it is wise to plan ahead and make sure you are ready. We can give professional advice on the potential market value of your home, the current levels of activity in the area and the preparations that need to be completed before the house can be marketed. Don’t be a panic seller or buyer, or let the market dictate your move – be a property optimist and take control, and if you plan ahead you will increase the chances of moving quickly when the time comes.

Rotary Club of Fareham 75th Charter Night Celebration Event!
The Rotary Club of Fareham had a wonderful evening on Thursday to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the granting of their Charter with a number of dignitaries and special guests present. It was fitting that our Club Members, the Rotarians who generously give their time and talent in support of their local community in Fareham and also for those less fortunate overseas, could enjoy their special event to recognise what they carry out in the name of Rotary.
As Norman Chapman, President of the Rotary Club of Fareham, said “We welcomed to our event the Mayor & Mayoress of Fareham (Councillor Rotarian Mrs Pamela Bryant and the Mayoress Mrs Louise Clubley); Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire Mr Tim Weale TD DL; and our Rotary District Governor Mr Paul Steele who travelled from his home in Guernsey to join us. It was an honour to have them all with us and I thank them for their kind words when addressing Club members.”
Guest speaker for the dinner was well-known Radio & TV Presenter, David Hamilton, who entertained members and guests with tales from his broadcasting life in a career spanning over five decades. With over 12,000 radio shows and more than 1,000 tv shows he reached 18 million listeners to his show. Now to be heard on new national station BOOM, a daily afternoon radio show available throughout the UK, David told us the inside news of those he has interviewed!
And so the life of our Club continues with current support being for Hampshire charity Hounds for Heroes who will benefit from the night’s raffle by £605. The charity provides assistance dogs to disabled UK Armed Forces and Emergency Services personnel whose quality of life is improved by their hound. We also support Global Sight Solutions who help to combat blindness and cataracts in the developing world.
Here's to the next 75 years of local and worldwide service from the Rotary Club of Fareham. Anyone interested in considering joining the Club, that offers friendship and fun, should email farehamrotary. pr@gmail.com for further details. Weekly lunch meetings are held on Thursdays at Cams Hall Golf Club.
