The Barley Corn Inn loved and run by locals changed hands last July, but now with restrictions lifted we are up and running and ready to greet you for beautiful home cooked meals,we welcome everyone including your four legged friends!
The Barleycorn Inn is a 17th century oak beamed inn set deep in the glorious Hampshire countryside in the historic town of Bishop’s Waltham.
At one time it was a brewery and before that a paupers' house; the paupers lived upstairs and the saloon bar was a pigsty!
The Barleycorn Inn has a stunning enclosed garden with great play area for the little ones.
With the winter fast approaching we boast an warming open fire for cosy nights. We also have SKY and BT sports available indoors and out.
All of our produce is locally sourced and cooked by our local talented chef Simon. Throughout the month we offer an ever changing specials board with plenty of vegetarian options. Sunday roasts are also available as a take away, infact everything available is takeaway!
The Barley corn is perfectly suited for private parties,office parties,wakes or any other kind of functions. If you are planning a function over the Christmas and New Year period we are now taking bookings.
If you are interested in becoming part of the team we are looking for sous chef to work alongside head chef and kitchen staff.
