The year 2021 marks 100 years since the launch of the iconic Parker Duofold and to celebrate this milestone, Parker has launched a dedicated special edition that will remain in the market for one year. Launched in 1921, the Parker Duofold’s bold and disruptive “Big Red” color stirred the interest of consumers globally and paved the way for many more of its daring colors that the Duofold is renowned for. The Duofold embodied the roaring 1920s exuberant popular culture, a time when many people indulged in new styles and rejected many traditional colors. Showcasing Parker’s 130 years of design innovation and craftsmanship, the Duofold 100th Anniversary Special Edition is unique in its design and takes inspiration from those early experiments by delicately fusing multiple thin layers of precious resin together to form an intricate pattern on the cap and barrel. Each pen comprises three precious resins, and although made with a different process today, each resin is carefully selected to create alternating bands of colors, a clear nod to those early experiments. The fountain pen is enhanced with an 18kt gold nib available in medium and fine widths. Cartridge/converter fill (converter included).

The Deluxe collection is enhanced with a gold plated cap in a chiseled design, adorned with a pearlescent cap jewel and resin barrel and is available in two barrel colors. The 18kt gold nib is available in M and F widths. Cartridge/ converter fill (converter included). The collection is completed with a matching twist-action ball pen.
