Montblanc Great Characters A Elvis Presley Special Edition The Montblanc Great Characters Elvis Presley Special Edition celebrates the King of Rock ’n’ Roll in black precious resin—the color of the leather suit he wore in the famous 1968 NBC Elvis TV special. The surface texture on the cap and barrel is inspired by the ring he had specially made for another legendary performance, Aloha from Hawaii. Engravings of quotes encircle the cone and central rings, while the gold clip expresses Elvis’s love of V8 engines with its V shape and 8-hole design. The handcrafted 14kt solid gold, rhodium-coated nib is available in M and F widths and is engraved with the title of one of his many songs, “Blue Suede Shoes.” Crowning the cap is a special combination of the Montblanc Emblem and the name recognized instantly all over the world: ELVIS.
