Santorini was formed after a volcanic eruption destroyed the earliest settlements on a previously single island. A Writers Edition Homage to Homer Limited Edition
Since 1992, Montblanc has paid tribute to great writers, whose works have become part of world literature, with the Writers Limited Editions. Homer is believed to have lived between the 8th century and 10th century and is perhaps the greatest of all epic poets of Ancient Greece. Best known as the author of the Iliad and the Odyssey, his works are considered to be the foundations of Western literature and poetry. This Writers Edition takes its main inspiration from the story of the Trojan horse and wrath of Achilles, related in the Iliad. The fountain pen size is comparable to the mythical “149.� The overall design is inspired by the Trojan horse, with the back and clip reflecting the spear of Achilles. The engraving on the cone and rings borrows motifs from traditional Greek black-figured pottery, with the overall color of the writing instrument taking inspiration from this same black Greek pottery. The 18kt solid gold nib, with special engraving, is available in M or F widths. The piston-filled fountain pen is limited to 9,800 pieces; the ballpoint pen to 10,300; the capless rollerball is limited to 8,600 pieces and the set with the fountain pen, ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil, 0.7mm, is limited to 800 sets.

You can experience the same satisfaction and inspiration that Twain felt as he penned his extraordinary thoughts. The Crescent Filler is known for its easy-to-fill reservoir. To fill the pen, simply press the crescent on the barrel to depress/empty the rubber bladder inside; as the crescent is released, ink flows back into the bladder. At the dawn of the Depression, Conklin launched a collection that was priced more affordably to the general public. The All American collection was offered in a variety of sizes, filling mechanisms, and finishes with the aim of satisfying a growing market demand for good-quality but affordably priced writing instruments. Drawing inspiration from Conklin’s rich heritage, the new All American collection brings a vibrant, contemporary style to a timeless oversized, streamlined design. Crafted from hand-made European high-grade resins, the All American is impressively large in size, yet not so big as to be uncomfortable in the hand. The cap and barrel are carefully tapered to provide a perfect balance. The smooth steel nib is available in F, M, Stub, and the flexible Omniflex widths, cartridge/converter filling (included). The elegant ball pen is twist activated.

The Esterbrook Pen Company, a true American Original, is rewriting its long success story in modern times with a fresh new pen collection based on a complete rebranding. Esterbook began manufacturing nibs in the USA in the mid-1800s, but the 1930s were a period of importance, as they introduced their first interchangeable nib system in 1933. The interchangeable nibs gave the user many options for writing in school, business, personal and the like. Today, a similar system is reborn with the Estie and the specially engineered “Modern to Vintage” (MV) Nib Adapter. The MV adapter delivers a vintage nib experience with a modern shaped Esterbrook pen.

Estie Collection Estie is a modern-day nickname for the brand and a symbol of 1930s nostalgia, a time when fountain pens were an integral part of life and communication for most Americans. The Estie has a clean and understated design with a bandless center and a sleek and narrow pocket clip. Available in fountain pen and rollerball, you can choose from cobalt blue, tortoise and ebony finishes. The Ebony is available in the standard size and also an Oversize model. The fountain pen can be inked with either cartridge or the included converter and is equipped with the popular size six JOWO German steel nib and the cushion cap closure.
Unbelievable! The Estie is the first collection from Esterbrook to accept the ever popular MV Nib Adapter. The MV Adapter is a secondary grip section that’s been engineered to accept a Vintage Esterbrook nib and feed unit (over 60 years old) from the many popular vintage Esterbrook steel nibs still available, and which will fit both size fountain pens.
