Ways to Give PARENTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Foxcroft parents play a vital role in our fundraising efforts.
During your daughter’s time at Foxcroft and beyond, there are a variety of ways for you to support our mission of helping every girl explore her unique voice and develop the skills, confidence, and courage to share it with the world. These giving opportunities include: FOXCROFT’S ANNUAL FUND The Annual Fund, which provides 9% of the School’s yearly operating budget, plays an essential role in covering the full cost of your daughter’s education. Gifts to this critical fund enable us to recruit phenomenal faculty, maintain our 500-acre campus, and provide your daughter with a variety of academic, athletic, and extra-curricular activities. Strong parent participation is a powerful endorsement of the School and positions us well for receiving potential grant monies from a variety of foundations. If you can make only one gift to Foxcroft, we ask that it be to the Annual Fund.

SILENT AUCTION The Foxcroft Parents’ Association’s only fundraiser is held each year during Parents’ Weekend. Its purpose is community building and fun with proceeds going to support the Foxcroft community in many ways. The PA supports student enrichment, faculty appreciation and development, special requests from academic departments, and special programs, among other things.
STUDENT-DIRECTED FUNDRAISERS Foxcroft fosters and encourages “giving back” as a fundamental element of a Foxcroft girl’s education. As such, you might get a request from your daughter’s class, other classes, or clubs as they work together to raise funds for causes that are not only aligned with the mission of the School, but are dear to their hearts. For more information about these opportunities, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 540.687.4510 or email advancement@foxcroft.org.
Planned and estate gifts take various forms — bequests, trusts, annuities, pooled income, property interests — and provide for the future needs of the School. Planned gifts ensure that Foxcroft will retain and attract inspiring teachers, that the faculty will continue to design and implement rigorous and creative educational programs, that financial aid will be available to prospective students, and that the buildings and grounds will be carefully maintained and augmented as needed. Foxcroft’s Office of Institutional Advancement can work with you and your financial advisor as you plan your estate.
MATCHING GIFTS Many organizations will match outright gifts made by employees and their spouses. Reaching out to your organization’s Human Resources Department for a matching gift form and instructions will set this benefit in motion, potentially doubling the impact of your gift.
RECURRING GIFTS Amidst your busy life, recurring gifts are an easy way to automatically make a contribution to Foxcroft using your credit card. Recurring gifts can be setup monthly to distribute your gift through the year; or annually, for up to three years.
