Making a positive difference in people’s lives Fox Communities Credit Union has been making a positive difference in people’s lives for more than 81 years and is committed to our communities through actions, not just words. Our members are the reason that we are in business and our future is defined by prioritizing people over profits. We continue to demonstrate this through our expanding presence, social responsibility, being a trusted financial advocate, and investing in the infrastructure of the credit union to meet the future needs of our members. In keeping with our dedication to the members and communities, we selected and sent a cross section of our staff through a financial education training program that will aid them in guiding members towards making sound financial decisions. We will continue this certified training program, over the coming years, to advance the financial education of staff for our members’ benefit. At Fox, we understand that members don’t just want a savings account, they want to learn how to save more for their futures!

Greg Hilbert, President and CEO, states, “Making a positive difference in people’s lives is why we do what we do. Our credit union is here for the sole purpose of supporting our members, staff and our communities. We nurture a culture of service among our employees and invest in the communities that we serve. These efforts were recently recognized when Fox was selected for both the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce Community Partner Award and the Fox Cities Chamber Corporate Leadership Award. These awards recognize organizations whose philosophy of giving back has made a significant difference in the well-being of our local communities.”

In addition to Fox’s commitment to its members and communities, we are happy to report to you that your Fox Communities Credit Union is in the strongest financial position in the history of the credit union. Board Chair, Bill Panella, adds, “Having a financially strong credit union gives us the confidence and security to focus on long-term investments, such as, improvements to our technological infrastructure. The Board of Directors works closely with the leadership team to ensure that Fox will be sustainable well into the future. Those decisions meet the changing needs and security of our members. The investment in these areas is another way to show how we work collectively as one. 2019 will be a pivotal year as we continue to upgrade our technology at the credit union. We strive to be ahead of the curve, so we can keep in step with your needs to Make Life Happen!”

The Fox Cares Foundation was established to benefit area communities and make a positive difference in people’s lives. It addresses three needs that we believe help form the basis of a physically and emotionally healthy community; to end homelessness…because no person should have to go without a place to call home, to fight hunger…because no community thrives when some go hungry, to provide access to the Arts…because expression through the arts brings beauty to the community at large. The Fox Cares Foundation is funded through generous donations from members and the community, proceeds from Fox Communities Credit Union’s “Bike to the Beat” and Fox’s annual staff holiday party. Together, these totaled over $91,000 in 2018! Funds are distributed to local non-profits through a grant process. Learn more, donate or request a grant at www.foxcares.org. www.foxcu.org
