We have officially broken ground for our new branch in Oshkosh With this branch at 1870 Oshkosh Ave., it will become our 22nd location. This full service, technology-focused branch will include teller PODS inside the branch lobby, where staff works side by side with members, full-service drive-thru lanes, an ATM, and a coffee bar. “We are excited to have the opportunity to serve our current and future members in the Oshkosh area. While we may be building a facility, more importantly we are building lasting relationships in the community. We take great pride in what we do in the community, and we are very excited to be here,” states Nancy Krahn, Chief Retail Officer. Should I trade or sell my vehicle? “The answer to this common question really depends on the value of your ride. One thing to focus on is the tax savings on the trade. If you trade your auto for $10,000, you’d be saving $500-$550 in taxes vs selling by yourself. Therefore, you would have to sell your car privately for at least $10,500 for you to come out ahead. Another big thing to consider is the hassle of trying to sell your car. You might find it beneficial to trade your car if you want less work on your end. My advice would be, if you have a car with a trade value of $2,500 or less, you may be better off trying to sell it on your own. Many people look for inexpensive rides for a cost effective commute for work or school.” - Mike Pastorelli, Auto Buying Specialist 920-993-3503 or mpastorelli@foxcu.org

Credit or debit - which should I use?

Here are a few steps to avoid scams on these apps: • Link the app to a credit card instead of your debit card or bank account. • Create a strong password and disable automatic login. • Never send/accept payments from a stranger.

Ever find yourself standing at the gas pump, wondering what you should do to keep your information safe and transaction convenient? The answer is dependent. • To avoid using your PIN, in case a fraudster is up to something, hit that ‘Credit’ button! • If it’s important to you that the transaction hits your account quicker, choose ‘Debit’. This choice is processed faster and will keep you from having to remember the charge is still pending on your balance.

The safest choice is to head inside and use ‘Debit’! The cashier’s machine is less likely to be tampered with.

Salvation Army Drive: Coats for Kids

Another successful Bike to the Beat

Monday, September 27-Friday, October 29 Drop off new or gently used winter coats at any of our locations.

Thank you to the local businesses, participants, volunteers, and staff!

As we prepare for the colder months ahead, we are asking for coat donations to make sure local children in need stay warm this winter. If you would rather provide a monetary donation, any amount is helpful and is greatly appreciated. In fact, as little as $20 buys a new coat for a child who would otherwise go without.

• $32,420 from all registrations was donated to the Fox Cares Foundation (foxcares.org). • 1,916 bicyclists participated. • 14 states were represented. Join us next year, Saturday, August 6, 2022! biketothebeat.com

In accordance with the CDC recommendations, we ask that you please wear a mask, santize and distance while visiting Fox, regardless of vaccination status.
