The ‘Mediterranean versus Caspian’ project consists of a framework agreement between universities, companies and people. The participating institutions are the University of Alicante (Alicante, Spain) and the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (Baku, Azerbaijan).
The objectives of the project are to enrich knowledge and skills and to promote the concept of sustainability in both countries. Our aim is to develop international programs for future strategic collaborations in terms of research and education. Universities, companies and students of both countries take part in a discussion in order to exchange points of view and share experiences about the contemporary global architectural condition.
The expected results consist of finding relations and coincidences in the way both countries research about the idea of sustainability related to the architectural design.
