These are biologically active compounds that can help protect cells in the body from damage that can lead to cancer. http://www.aicr.org/reduce-your-cancer-risk/recommendations-for-cancer-prevention/recommendations_04_plant_based.html

Question # 5 How often do you have cancer checks done?

A mammogram is an x-ray picture of the breast. Mammograms can be used to check for breast cancer in women who have no signs or symptoms of the disease. This type of mammogram is called a screening mammogram. Screening mammograms usually involve two x-ray pictures of each breast. Question # 7 How can immunotherapy help cure cancer?

Unlike chemotherapy, which involves administering powerful drugs that kill both cancerous and healthy cells, immunotherapies harness the power of the immune system to help it identify and knock out just the cancerous cells. Immunotherapies work well for some cancers such as melanoma, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, and multiple myeloma. http://www.businessinsider.de/what-cancer-treatment-did-jimmy-carter-use-2016-3?r=US&IR=T

3 types of immunotherapy Monoclonal antibodies These are man-made versions of immune system proteins. Antibodies can be very useful in treating cancer because they can be designed to attack a very specific part of a cancer cell.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors These drugs basically take the “brakes off the immune system, which helps it recognize and attack cancer cells. Cancer vaccines Vaccines are substances put into the body to start an immune response against certain diseases. We usually think of them as being given to healthy people to help prevent infections. But some vaccines can help prevent or treat cancer. http://www.cancer.org/acs/groups/cid/documents/webcontent/003013-pdf.pdf
