Feedback offer

The purpose of giving feedback is to help others to learn / to improve. So before sharing feedback, ensure that the other person understands your positive intentions in sharing it. https://hbr.org/2016/08/how-to-make-feedback-feel-normal https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/power-proper-feedback-margo-manning https://hbr.org/2015/08/the-key-to-giving-and-receiving-negative-feedback

When you ask permission to give feedback, for example by asking the question “Can I give you some feedback about your presentation / talk?”, you will recognize that the person  has the possibility to get herself / himself into a healthy emotional state before the feedback arrives.  will be less defensive about the feedback. https://hbr.org/2015/08/the-key-to-giving-and-receiving-negative-feedback https://medium.com/@AdamMGrant/stop-serving-the-feedback-sandwich-bc1202686f4e#.yunjvd150
