Learning games about numbers
Math challenge in groups of 2 people  Person A writes down a math question. Example: 12 x 14. Person B solves the math challenge.  Then person B writes down a math challenge. Person A solves the math challenge.
Book counting challenge How many books are there in your home? Which book has the most pages? Which book has the least pages? Which book is your favourite? How long time would it take you to read it?
Word counting challenge Pick a book of your choice at home and read 1 page as fast as you can. How long time did it take you to read the page? How many different nouns are there on the page? How many different adjectives are there? How many different verbs are there on the page?
Recipe for twice as many people  Person A looks up a recipe for a meal he wants to cook.  Person B calculates how much is needed of each ingredient when the meal is for 3 times as many people as is mentioned in the recipe.
Two children, a girl and her brother, went to a supermarket to buy food for their family. They bought 5 apples, 500 grams of carrots, 300 grams of grapes, 3 bananas and 2 litres of milk. The price of an apple was CHF 0.50. The price of 1 kilo carrots was CHF 5. The price of 1 kilo grapes was CHF 4. The price of a banana was CHF 0.40, and the price of 1 litre milk was CHF 1.50. How much did they pay for everything they bought? What story, which includes a math question, can you write?
