Tangled Parody Craziness Compilation - Try Not To Laugh #1 So everyone has heard of Tangled by now right? Tangled is a very beautiful and charming and funny animated movie from Disney. Tangled is a fairy tale movie with a very famous plot, based on the original Rapunzel fairy tale with a twist of the Brothers Grimm too. But this time round, the Tangled parody should be appreciated and enjoyed a lot more. I was a bit wary when I first went to watch Tangled in the cinema. I wasn't really sure what to expect. Since Tangled is one of Disney's first fully animated CGI movies with a PG rating which at first makes you think it's just going to be for kids only. However the story appeared to be well thought out right down to the very last and finest of details.

And the movie itself has everything that all ages can enjoy from funnies to romantic storylines, magical songs and great characters. Although the story to Tangled appears to be a little predictable, after all it's a cartoon at the end of the day, it's still a good story anyway. And the story is simple as it is genius. Based on Rapunzel who's a princess with long and magic hair which can heal and keep you young and she has been locked away in a tower. Rapunzel was kidnapped and then locked in the tower by a witch the Mother Gothel who wanted to keep Rapunzel's hair all to herself. So Rapunzel grows up thinking that the witch is her real mother. But her real parents, the king and queen are always looking to find her. Every time it's her birthday, they light hundreds of lanterns and send them into the air in the hope that Rapunzel will see them and come home. When Rapunzel turns 18 she asks the wicked witch who she thinks is her mother to go out and see all the lanterns floating in the sky, but is forbidden to even think about it! That's because she's told the world outside the tower is wicked and cruel and full of dangerous and evil people who want to harm her. Obviously without giving away the full plot to the movie itself, as you can imagine, this being a fairy tale it will always have a happy ending for her. I'm not a big fan of animated movies, CGI and

3D but despite that, I have to say the new Tangled movie is very beautifully looking throughout. And one of my most memorable moments where the movies beauty truly comes through is the lantern scene with Rapunzel and Flynn together. It really makes it one of the most beautiful CGI movie scenes of all time that I've ever seen on the big screen! That goes for all the lights and the wonderful music throughout the movie. Rapunzel being voiced by Mandy Moore who has an awesome sounding voice. And it's the same for Flynn's voice too which is voiced by Zachary Levi and that gives Flynn a lot of character, makes him funny and attractive too. Definitely the soundtrack to the Tangled movie is one well worthy of being heard with the songs all being heartfelt and meaningful and only go on to make the plot even better. It's not just words, but well thought out versus that match the movies shenanigans and goings on and all serve a purpose in the movie. That said, Pascal the chameleon and Maxim the royal horse who are supporting characters in the movie steal the show if you ask me! They both don't speak in the movie but the way they look, their facial expressions and more are really funny. Who needs words when you can say everything you need to say with just one look? Overall, Tangled is a great movie! Perfect for all the family and suited for young and old alike. Your kids will love watching Tangled and older people who grew up familiar with the Rapunzel fairy tale will love it too. In time, Tangled will become as much a home loved classic as Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella is today. I also have a 5 year old daughter and she's been growing her hair long like Rapunzel for a while now so of course, we had to go and see the movie on the opening night. And although Rapunzel is a damsel in distress, she has a bright and lively personality and loves life. And there's lots of personality being shown for a girl that's locked in a tower. The movie has lots of funny parts and a truly magical storyline that make the movie a family loved classic and sure to be purchased on DVD and kept alongside the other Disney classics. And being locked away in a tower, you'd expect Rapunzel to be sad and miserable but she's not and she lives a happy and joyful life. Even if it's mostly be herself. Rapunzel wants to see and experience the outside world, but is convinced from what her so called mother tells her that she is being locked away for her own protection from the evil world. Rapunzel is very sweetly naive to all of this and although she lives a mostly sheltered life, she is very curious and full of life and energy which shows through in her character. That's all until one day when the bandit Flynn Ryder enters her life and climbs into her tower and tells her about the world. And from then on, Rapunzel concocts a plan to see it! And throughout carrying out her plan, Rapunzel remains strong in her plan in charge but also very child like in her enthusiasm to escape her tower and experience the world for herself. And Rapunzel is very modern like and has girl power while she innocently trusts other people. And the freedom she has from her tower lock-away is truly exhilarating for her too. Rapunzel's escape from the tower comes with a lot of adventures and narrow escapes, all the while singing and dancing while she experiences all of it along with the new love she's found. Throughout her journey, Rapunzel learns a lot about the world and herself too. And although her

main goal is to experience the world, her main goal isn't to fall in love and live happily ever after. Her main goal is to find out her true identity and learn about who she is and why and how she became locked away in a tower for such a long time. And while she learns that Mother Gothel was right in saying the world is a scary and evil place, she also learns to love her new life outside of the tower too. Overall, Tangled has a great story and a happy ending as you would expect in a fairy tale. The bad guys get what they are due, Flynn Ryder turns out to be a good guy underneath is criminal coating. Rapunzel finally gets to see the annual lantern floating lights in the sky with an added benefit of finding out she is actually royalty and then she finds true love too. And although the love story doesn't take centre stage in the movie, the main story is Rapunzel's coming of age, realization and maturity that she comes to adopt. And Rapunzel learning that she has more than just magic hair. And that's Tangled the Disney movie! A delightful, fun and adventure fraught movie your kids (and you) will enjoy watching over and over!
