Set in our exclusive Wine Room room overlooking the estate, we’ll guide you through an educational tasting of wine from our current releases and back vintages, as well as limited bottlings not available elsewhere. Following your tasting experience, you will enjoy a casual, shared lunch in the beautiful gardens of our Piazza with a glass of Estate wine, included in your package. After lunch, take your time to explore the contemporary sculpture collection set amongst the produce gardens and vineyards of Montalto estate.

You’ll be guided through our gardens to learn how we maximise the natural bounty of our estate. From here, you’ll visit our breathtaking private wine room with 360-degree views across the gardens and estate, to experience a private and structured wine tasting of Montalto’s flagship Single Vineyard wines. Finally, experience Montalto’s estate to plate philosophy in action, with a stunning 5-course lunch with matched wines in Montalto restaurant. After lunch, you are welcome to continue your exploration of the property, with a self-guided tour of the estate’s natural wetlands and extensive permanent sculpture exhibition.

Taste Montalto’s range straight from the barrel as we reveal the secrets of our winemaking process. Learn about the important changes taking place as the grapes mature and the wines develop in this hands-on winery experience. Your tour concludes back at Montalto Piazza Cafe with a Garden Grazing long lunch with a bottle of Montalto Estate in the stunning surrounds of Wendy’s Garden, lastly, a gift from us of one of our Montalto Estate wines to take home and enjoy once your day is complete.

THE U LTI M AT E P IN OT LOV E R S ROAD TRI P Duration: 6 hours When: By appointment only Price: $2000 for two people Join us for a trip down the dirt roads and behind the locked gates on Montalto’s secret “Single Vineyard” touring route. No signs, no maps, just a guided tour to the hidden Mornington Peninsula vineyards that grow our very best Pinot Noir. The tour begins in the winery with a guided barrel tasting of current vintage wines. Then, armed with a selection of Montalto provisions, it’s time for a picturesque road-trip to our unique single vineyard sites. Visiting our sites at Tuerong, Merricks and Main Ridge, you’ll see the soil, touch the vines and taste the finished wines from each site. After gaining a true appreciation for the diversity of each location and its expression in the glass, you’ll head to Montalto restaurant for a six-course degustation lunch with matched wine while taking in stunning views across the home vineyard. Finally, take a lasting memory home with you of the vineyards you visited, and the wines you tasted, with a six-bottle collection of our Single Vineyard wines.
