Welcome 101 Bathurst Street Sydney Australia is the only address for lovers of Sydney city living. This 56-level residential tower with 456 light-filled skyhomes is an extraordinary re-invention of high-rise living. A beacon of light and design, Lumière Residences is set in the heart of Australia’s largest and most cosmopolitan city, adjacent to Sydney Town Hall. As the inspired centrepiece of Regent Place, it is already a Sydney landmark. Described as one of the most influential architects of the modern era, Lord Norman Foster of Foster + Partners creates iconic buildings around the world and this is certainly one of them. Welcome to Lumière Residences, by Frasers Property.

Lobby Contemporary design is limited only by the imagination. Unique, dramatic and captivating, the grand three-storey glass atrium lobby is both elegant and surprising. Foster + Partners have given Lumière Residences a bold palette of black, red and reflections, making an entry statement of bold beauty. Glass, highly polished surfaces and the spectacular light installation in the lift lobby by Claude Engle create a space that denotes the personality of Lumière Residences – contemporary, timeless, impressive, substantial. Arriving here to be welcomed – or have guests welcomed – is something quite special.

Concierge That signature of all great addresses – the Concierge – is naturally at home here at Lumière Residences. At all times two Concierge staff are on stand-by to assist you and your guests. Thus, full Concierge services are available 24 hours a day, all year round. You may require someone to take care of a delivery on your behalf, even including seeing it safely into your apartment as per your instructions. Dry cleaning, taxis ordered or local services recommended… nothing is impossible for our dedicated team when in pursuit of your comfort.

Club Lumière Club Lumière is a spectacular resort-style leisure and fitness centre spanning two floors, exclusively for the use of residents. Be welcomed to Club Lumière by its very own Concierge. Why does it have its own staff? Simple, there is so much to oversee. There are two theatrettes seating 8 and 12 in luxurious lounges, so it’s best to book. Catering can also be arranged with notice. There is a choice of three different sized events rooms – for meetings, a launch, a private party, whatever event you have in mind. Just discuss your needs with the Concierge who will see everything runs according to your wishes.

Pool Possibly the most magnificent area after the fountain-illuminated lobby is the pool zone in Club Lumière. The statistics are impressive: at 50 metres it is Sydney CBD’s longest private pool. It spans both indoor and outdoor areas and is heated all year round. There is an adjacent ‘recreational’ 20 metre indoor pool for those who just want to have fun. The views are north facing and spectacular, looking across the beautiful stone spires of St. Andrew’s Cathedral. To round off this aquatic experience, the pool is accompanied by a jacuzzi, steam room and a private sauna, plus male and female changing rooms.
11
12
Terrace A resort-in-the-city, Club Lumière’s Terrace is a sun-drenched sanctuary, exclusively for residents. North facing, it overlooks magnolia borders to St.Andrew’s Cathedral, the Town Hall and Sydney’s landmark retail emporium – the Queen Victoria Building. Reflected in the tower’s glass sheath, this recreational area becomes a fairyland by night as city lights bestow a magical quality. To one side is the jacuzzi. Central is the extraordinary overhang of the enormous pool, its window at the bottom permitting swimmers to see down to the street below. Taking centre stage is the extraordinary timber deck which wraps around the eastern side of the tower giving entrèe to other Club Lumière facilities.
13
14
Gym, Yoga, Pilates Whatever your preferred form of fitness, Club Lumière’s various rooms, equipment and classes will have you fit and toned in no time. The first class gymnasium has all the latest technology and there is a separate weight training room. Yoga and pilates can be done by yourself, in your own time, or join in the classes organised by the Concierge. After a strenuous work out the steam room, jacuzzi, sauna or pool await. The change rooms have lockers and there are lounges and seating areas in the Club’s lobby and alongside the pool. Sophisticated, spectacular, world class: a club on par with the best.

Security Peace of mind is on everyone’s mind. In today’s world we all want to know that home is our safe haven, a sanctuary, somewhere to relax, unwind, entertain and just be ourselves without any concerns. Lumière Residences assures you of that. All residents are issued with their own secure-coded pass key to operate the main entrance on Bathurst Street, the lifts and of course carpark areas. In all apartments, a colour audio-visual system links to your intercom and television. And of course, Lumière Residences is monitored 24/7 by CCTV manned by security personnel.

Architecture Noted for their inventiveness, ecological sensitivity and artistic virtuosity, Foster + Partners have redefined residential tower living in their design of Lumière Residences. Eight slender glass-clad towers linked by a central core allow northern sun to penetrate right to the heart of each floor. Common walls are reduced and a true sense of privacy prevails. Stone, glass, steel, copper, water and light (both natural and man-made), conspire seamlessly into a glistening silhouette that brings together the integrity of an historic setting with timeless architectural appeal.

Divided into four distinct zones, named after the colours of the atmosphere, Levels 15-34 are occupied by the Blu Apartments, Levels 35-44 by Aqua, and Levels 45-53 by the Azure Apartments. The Sky Penthouses preside over levels 54-56. Loggias Whichever way you categorise them, as a conservatory-style wintergarden or an open fluid space, Lumière Residences’ ‘loggias’ promote variable living and climate control all year round. Unusually for a high-rise tower, windows open wide. Bi-fold doors glide sideways to significantly increase the useable living and entertaining spaces of each residence. These unique indoor/outdoor zones provide an intelligent response to contemporary lifestyles. At Lumière Residences this ancient Mediterranean concept is redefined for vertical living in the 21st century.

Kitchens Foster + Partners designed the kitchens throughout the Lumière Residences. Depending on whether you buy an Azure, Aqua or Blu apartment defines your palette of finishes and colours. Blu’s kitchen signature scheme is either a striking red or blue colourbacked glass with white joinery punctuated by stainless steel. Aqua’s kitchens carry a softer look using silver and white. Integrated stainless steel appliances, stone benchtops and colourbacked glass are the repeat elements. Azure kitchens are sumptuously adorned in backlit natural onyx, adding lustrous drama to a utilitarian space.

Bedrooms This most important of rooms should be an environment both indulgent and relaxing. Here in Lumière Residences, one is immediately assured of enjoying both. Floor to ceiling glass, or in some cases double height glass where the master bedroom overhangs the loggia/living space below, permits the occupant to wake up or go to sleep accompanied by wall-to-wall views to the city, to the harbour, to the mountains, to the ocean. These vast expanses of glass maximise natural daylight absorption, while by night they bring the sparkling cityscape almost indoors with breathtaking clarity.

Study/Media What adult or family does not need that extra space – for study, for work, for relaxation? Today’s lifestyle means nearly all of us have a home computer. Many of us wish we had the extra space for a home theatre as a separate entity from our entertaining space. Lumière Residences have cleverly thought of these things for you. And while you work be careful, because just outside the window are views that will easily distract you and destinations to tempt you. All apartments are wired for highspeed broadband and pay TV. Selected apartments are additionally wired with the latest in home-automation.

Bathrooms With customary attention to detail, Foster + Partners went so far as to design the crisp white Duravit porcelain basins and toilet suites installed throughout Lumière Residences. Few apartments can equal that boast – unique ‘tailor made’ porcelain ware. Adding to the high fashion finish of these luxurious wet zones, in selected apartments you will find heated stone flooring, abundant mirror panelling and, if in an Azure apartment, back-lit onyx splashbacks. Colour-backed glass bathroom walls are found in rich red or metallic grey.

Gardens High above the bustling street life of Sydney’s CBD is a collection of private oases. Acknowledging some city dwellers crave their outdoor spaces and intimacy with nature, Lumière Residences have incorporated these lush garden apartments. Postioned just above the building’s podium, these expansive green spaces are on nodding terms with the lacey jacarandas that encircle the stone and slate spires of St. Andrews Cathedral and the Town Hall. To be able to walk out to your own garden, to relax in morning sun or entertain friends at twilight surrounded by twinkling city lights is a special experience.

Sky Penthouses Exhilarating would be an understatement when it comes to describing the eight ‘limited edition’ Sky Penthouses of Lumière Residences. Each is on a grand scale, revelling in three storeys of true penthouse experiential living including a breathtaking glass ceiling on their topmost level. Views are awe-inspiring. By night the city becomes a glittering carpet below as a million lights assure you that you are indeed, on top of the world. Private lifts, sweeping staircases, a private penthouse gymnasium, and your choice of bespoke interiors. This rare penthouse collection by Foster + Partners is in a league of its own.

Views Who doesn’t desire a room with a view? At Lumière Residences they come in abundance. Depending on which level you reside on, views here can take you east as far as the Pacific Ocean or west to the Blue Mountains. There are views north across Sydney Harbour and south to Botany Bay. Everywhere there is something to see. And unlike many apartment buildings, lower levels are not sidelined. Blu Apartment residents can get close to St. Andrews Cathedral and the Town Hall – by night a view nothing short of fabulous. Come the end of the day, the CBD lights up and the beauty of evening neon – often accompanied by fireworks – is a nightly thrill from every level.
