Introduction At Frasers Property Australia, we have been creating communities that our customers are proud to call home since 1924. As part of our Live Proud commitment, we have created this Community Development Plan, a plan that sets out a series of key objectives to enhance community connectedness at Minnippi Quarter. It’s all part of designing a community that offers an ideal balance between private retreat and communal connectivity.

• Help residents get to know their neighbours • Support the establishment of like-minded community groups • Provide community facilities that support a range of ‘live-work-play’ activities • Facilitate site activation opportunities with local businesses P R O M OT E AC T I V E H E A LT H Y L I F E S T Y L E S
• Utilising the natural landscape within our community and the broader parklands to promote group activities • Developing group based activities to encourage regular use of the onsite amenity, including 25m lap pool and gymnasium The Community Development Manager at Frasers Property will initially be responsible for implementing the Community Development Plan. As the community grows, members of the community and/or other stakeholders will be encouraged to take ownership of the Plan and adapt it to meet future needs.
M ON I TORI N G & EVALUAT I ON The Community Development Plan will be reviewed annually, and updated to reflect the diverse interests/needs of the evolving community, noting their preferences for various activities and promoting community led events and programs. This requires the collaboration and support of many stakeholders and partners (e.g. council, community groups, service providers) in the local area to build the capacity of new residents and enable a strong, healthy and connected community at Minnippi Quarter. Frasers Property’s A Different Way sustainability targets include the need for a consistent approach for measuring community investment and social impact. Partnerships will be sought with various providers in order to measure and determine the overall community benefit.

THE COMMUNIT Y
Our community at Minnippi Quarter Minnippi Quarter is located in the well-established, highly connected neighbourhood of Carina, just 8kms from Brisbane’s CBD. Given its ideal proximity to public transport links, schools, hospitals and retail, we expect that the residents of our community will be diverse. Our community will bring together people who feel they are in a place of transition in their lives and see home ownership as an important part of their personal security and financial freedom. These residents will have common shared values and seek similar home buying experiences. The community is well serviced by local retail operators. Many of the small business owners are long standing, with some operating in Carina for more than 50 years.
